Ya nice to see bbd x bc caught up quite a bit before it flip, bbd x bbb is an extremely heavy drinker, top is usually flopped over each morning if i make it out any later than about 730 am to water, been a few days that even by evening its thirsty already and had to give that evening splash. Negans bat is great at minding its business and doing it’s thing, been a trouble free low maintenance plant for that one that I’ve had to pay no attention to aside from waters and teas
No strong smells yet, just starting to stretch and no budsites quite formed yet, id imagine another 2-3 weeks I’ll start to see and smell what it’s about
This is excellent to hear man. Everyone that has grown it so far has had little to no issues and seems to handle everything thrown at it… I think this may be one of the crosses I end investigating a bit more.
Hell ya, after the grow is done for the season ur welcome to some nice sampler buds of each! Def the nice thing about being local to each other! If u haven’t already got it yet u should have some pollen in ur mailbox by now, maybe Monday at the latest but don’t see it taking longer than that
Going to take pics in a little bit. Still morning time with the kiddos. Fairly positive I’ve got 2 fem 2 males at this point. Tall ones are the males. Kinda not surprised. The fems are branching nicely though. Not even going to top them. Just veg for a couple weeks in their new dirt pots then send them.
Oh and take note that they are decently resistant to Thrips or at least respond to bio-pesticides well. They’re one of the few plants in the 4x8 not being sporadically ravaged as I beat back this outbreak. Used wettable sulphur in veg, that went great. Tent is mostly flowering autos now so went to spinosad after 4 or 5 weeks of 1 sulphur application and no sign of them. I just found out that beauveria bassiniana is sprayable and it works like a genocide on the thrips. So current rotation is spinosad 2 days apart 2-3 times a week, BB to insta kill large numbers of them. Spino till I’m a couple weeks out from harvest, BB seems I can just do that with no REI or wait time. Need to get new stuff of all this, too. It’s past it’s shelf life.
Sulphur one application and not spraying anything foliar or shit like that to let it stick to everything inside and outside the tent looks to have knocked out all the spider mites hiding away. Had a corner I kept noticing would always end up with a plant having some early signs I’d have to deal with. Sulphur spray and so far not a problem in the past month.
@Kasper0909 Damn man I appreciate you taking the time to get me some pics. There isn’t a single one in this group I don’t like all are looking pretty good with nice little canopies! Excited to see what you find brother. That number 3 is really speaking to me! Looking forward to your updates!
@Kasper0909 Definitely the leaves and symmetry. Plus most of what I’ve seen from friends local as well as OGs have been nothing but chunky leaves. That one is definitely throwing thinner leaves than most I’ve seen so far. All of them look excellent though. You’re keeping them happy!
This is for my records of everyone who is currently growing out some of our work with pictures to show they’ve started and so far have made updates. It’s been a while since I’ve seen updates from a few of you. All updates are greatly appreciated! The more the merrier!
Well I love taking pictures of my plants haha maybe a little too much at times. Wasnt sure which thread to post them in. Now I know. I probably did know at one time im guessing.
I have a BBD F2 x Black Cherry up and going! I’ve shown up late to the party and only have the one going right now, but I’m happy to show progress along the way if you’d like! @Rhai88
Healthy little beauty so far!
Apologies for the lack of updates, got very busy since I took my first harvest down. I’ve put some autos in the tent to try and get a quick harvest as I’m out of a job at the moment, I know this is a bit of a let down. I will need to continue with Ryknows next run, which will be autumn and hopefully bring out more colours and help with my high humidity. Apologies for not getting round to them yet, the bbd x bc is still sat proud on the window ledge
