It blows me away the camouflage and body colors of insects. Like the little ladybug body shape and size but a gold chrome shell. Itâs like something youâd buy off the shelf. Some look air brushed. Some look like they were at an auto body paint shop. Good for stoners.

Whyâre we looking in outer space for aliens when your gardenâs full of them.
Lightning bugs are really out last few nights, itâs like being in an enchanted forest.

I grew up with the fireflies or lightning bugs as we called them, too, lol. I donât think we have them here. Probably too dry. I was and still am fascinated by them. I love nature.

I have a valley behind my place and there are literally thousands of fireflys. They look like the reflection of the stars.

They have to be one of natureâs coolest insects. I was hoping to travel back to the southeast this summer but not now. I wonder how far east I would have to go to see them?
