Seed popping comments

And you can but, there is this extra vigor that you get from the moon that is just special and if you have not experienced it at least once then you can’t make that call but until then you don’t know what you are missing js if that makes sense lol

You probably don’t believe in a soul either? But I didn’t say nothing about tides I’m talking about seeds and the effects on seeds are not the same as tides and I’m not here for your entertainment so if you’re not trying to learn please don’t waste my time, if you want to learn, talk, exchange ideas , ect that’s cool but I ain’t no toy thanks and have a nice day

Sorry. Do what you think is best.

I don’t sow by the moon phase, but search a bit on Google scholar and found some scholarly publications about it…
https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C44&q=does+moonphase+matter+for+germinating+seeds&btnG=#d=gs_qabs&t=1670196584757&u=%23p%3DJPmAV1mvsF8J

And it’s the waxing moon the week to 10 days before the full moon , of you plant the night of the full moon you have missed your window and probably get a negative effect think of it as you are harnessing that building of energy as like turbo charging your seeds and you might be like yeah right, but I’m sure you plan on popping plenty more seeds just try it one time keep track of how many germ how fast they break ground and how fast to first true leafs and I’m telling you it’s observable response, big difference

Another pro-tip is that I also tend to them while naked with my :eggplant: flopping about.

It gets the females excited to grow with more vigour and it intimidates the males from trying to compete.

I’ve had equally brilliant results with either a :new_moon: or :full_moon: But mixed with any-in-betweens.

My bad I wasn’t trying to be rude , sorry if that’s how it came out

“I don’t follow the moon either I just think it’s funny to see people justify it”

You can always blame the Man in the Moon when you fuck things up LOL.

I guess I’ve just been lucky all this time.
I crack seeds when I’m ready to crack 'em!

I don’t get this at all…
I thought a seed was a seed. They are made out of the same thing… They need the same things to induce germination… Shells may be thicker on some but they have the same makeup. Whatever the earlier generations were acclimated, I would think, would have no bearing on what a seed needs to do what a seed needs to do.
I am curious though. How does that work really? Wouldn’t seed catalogs have to put in a disclaimer about keeping a certain or sterile environment to be successful?

It’s true there are certain seeds that will only pop in a petri dish beside an autoclave using a pair of forceps and a Bunsen burner.

I took a bunch of advice and combined to germ 7 seeds from @99PerCent made 2/18.

@JohnnyPotseed method 3 seeds, 1 seed scraped and on the EWC and 3 will get a soak in full-power water then onto the EWC @ 80 degrees.

I also did it the last day for the Moon
:green_heart: :seedling:

I was sowing seeds when this kid was still messing in his drawers.

He has the right idea, just a bit of a drama queen who tends to over think stuff and do stuff you don’t need to do.

Having those tails out like that is just plain nasty. :money_mouth_face: :grimacing:

after 10 no germation _ finally got some Life !!! _ method - per soak seed for 12 hrs -(note generally seed will still be on top of water ((which is good) then use the paper towel method using a tuperware sealed container, cover - in 24hrs you will have a sprout. Note - due to temps useed a heat mat - put soak glass on it and then also put to container on it also. Please make sure whne you introducr your seed the temps are warm with your “sealed container” that was my issue water and ambeint temps were too cold. Fininally after loosing over $100.00 worth of seeds.

did someone say forgot?..
