It kind of sucks now that we might get flooded by the Bodhi runs from social media hype, but they still have to rep up. We want recipients to stay here and make more seed to keep OG alive. If that is accomplished, I don’t think it’s a bad thing.

I 2nd that!! We will make loyal members out of them. If they are that deep into strain hunting online then they should fit in perfectly here. Who knows, maybe they will run across the November Giveaway thread and become patrons.

The beauty of FB, and why I don’t worry too much about it, anymore, is that there is so much white noise being produced by paid marketers, and forced censorship by FB itself, these days that every post gets drowned out within a matter of hours.

, I’ve seen OG inspire a lot of people to give back far more than they’ve received and OG surely produces enough seeds to make sure that anyone that wants to grow has a good selection of free seeds

For real. From the looks of it the community has more packs of seeds to send out than we have recipients to run them, and it’s only been what, 2 years since the revival? I like to believe the free seed production here could become so big as to affect the entire market.

You forgot all the people trying to scam people out of cash by selling opened pack seeds from other breeders.
And the cycle of life continues, the males have been added to the worm bins to feed future generations of cannabis plants! (That’s a bocking-14 comfrey escapee growing in the front).

I thought about what other ways I could use them before they hit the pile, but they’re so caked in pollen that only the worms will touch them.

Interesting tidbit, did you know the hash makers of old used to add pollen to their hash? Curious if anyone has tried it.

I remember reading that somewhere a long time ago, but I don’t think they do it anymore since they figured out that the hash was stronger when it wasn’t cut with pollen.
I went through the females and shaved all their legs so they get better airflow, but just the bottom quarter that wasn’t really getting any light. I checked as I went through to make sure that none of the stuff I was trimming was pollinated!

I attempted to, but there was so much pollen everywhere, all the time, it was impossible to get individual samples. I contemplated more complicated methods for collecting individual samples, then reminded myself that I’ve got at least one clone of everything and two clones of all the males.
