I got mine today! This is a really awesome thing you did for the community. Those genetics look really special and I’m really glad I have them.

Thank you so much!

Nice! I’ve been in and out of this state for decades. It used to be a wonderful, magical place. Now, it just reminds me of how collectively unhappy we are as a species at the moment.

Exactly!!! Cali used to be like a playground for kids and grown folk, I always enjoyed the scenery whether driving thru mountainous regions or the cities.
There’s a ton of shit goin on out there lately. And the natives are kinda … I’ll leave it at that, people are ugly anywhere you go these days. With the exception of here on OG

They get ugly here too, though I’ve seen much less since the shark tank went down the drain.

@Guitarzan, just got my pack in last night! Many thanks to you for putting this together my friend! Good luck in your future runs!

Pretty sure you mean HEE Haw.

OK. Here are the promised shots of the bud run. You may have to open some of these pictures in a new tab in order to zoom them. I took some of them with my wife’s Canon Rebel T3, and the closeup bud shots with my iPhone, and a little clip on macro lens. The lights kinda wash 'em out a bit, but they aren’t too bad.

One thing to note. These plants were flipped on 10/5, so they won’t hit 8 weeks until Saturday. I’m thinking they have 10 days or so left, which would put them right at 9 weeks.

This is a clone of the #1 plant from the seed run. The lower growth looks normal, but as you scroll up, you can see the transition to totally fucking weird. The mutated main cola didn’t appear on this plant during the seed run, but the #6 plant, (the runt), had a branch exactly like that, flat stem, and an explosion of leaves. I counted 5 on one node. I think it’s gotta be some sort of environmental issue. The #6 plant was obviously stressed when it was germinated. The clones all got aphids, and I damn near killed them getting the aphids off. FYI, if you see a treatment for aphids that involves spraying them off with a water hose, run away. I think the stress of almost dying must trigger this reaction.

I love the Fauxhawk on that main cola!!!

These next few are of the #5 plant. This is the other pheno I saw in these plants. I’m not great at identifying regions just by looking, but his one seems to be more Afghan dom. Really lovely fade on these. It’s harder to tell because of the lights, but the leaves are turing a nice yellow, with bright red petioles. Really beautiful plants.

Here’s a shot of the #4 plant.

And of the original runt, #6.

#2 didn’t survive the aphid treatment.

These 3 are a Strawberry Diesel x C99 that I grew outdoors this year. The bud structure, and the leaf shape were very sativa dom, so I got cuttings.

I chucked the SD X C99, a White Widow, and a GSC that I had cuttings of.

Biggus Dickus is being flowered now at an undisclosed location. With a little luck, and @lefthandseeds gasket box/closet dehumidifier setup, there should be some pollen floating around.

All in all, this is a great strain to grow. It grows great indoors, and it’s fast enough to grow outdoors almost anywhere. I had them in 2 gal fabric pots, and they’re around 4ft tall, so I think they’d do really well outdoors.

The seeded plants had a hard time finishing up outside. In fact, a couple of them looked like they were dying, but I think it may have been snails. When I was breaking up the seeded buds, I found several tiny shells.

It was really wet this fall. So much so that some of the seeds started germinating on the plants. I never saw any mold or rot on them, so they seem to have some resistance to that.

Except for shucking all those freakin seeds this was really fun to do. One of the things I have loved about OG is the generosity of its members. So many people have given me so many seeds, and advice, and support. I’ve been wanting to give some of that back, and I’m indebted to @Upstate for giving me the chance by sending me these seeds.

Here’s one more of the group.

All that’s left is a harvest, and smoke report. I hope everyone finds something special in these seeds. The F2s should be something.

Thanks for looking everyone. :vulcan_salute:

The plants and the pics look great. I’m anxious to see the final results. Great work! Especially with that red dirt you Okees are surrounded by!

I had an ace Panama do this. Flattened stem and then the weird double bud. Durbin did this out in Washington state as well. There was definitely zero stress. Never saw plants grow so quickly or beautifully. I think it’s just some sort of mutation. Fasciated ( flattened) stem. @Guitarzan, let me know if you think the potency was affected or not once you smoke it. The Panama plant that did that was no good. (Anyone I sent seeds to, this plants seeds were not included. )excellant looking buds! Beautiful! Potent looking.

Funny you should mention that. I had aphids on my plants that didn’t show up until I had decent buds. All I could think to do was spray them off. I put the hose on shower and turnd the plants sideways, hitting the undersides. It didn’t seem to bother the plants and a lot of aphids were washed off, along with some resin and terpenes I’m sure. Desperate times mean Desperate Measures. Better than chemicals or soap

Me either. It looks like a Mohawk. I decided to name her Grace.

That was with my iPhone, and this little clip on macro lens my wife got on Amazon. I was surprised at how good it worked.

Not me man, that’s West Side. I’m smack dab in the middle of Green Country a.k.a. East Central Oklahoma. You know, God’s country. :upside_down_face:

Will do. It looks frosty, and it’s got an interesting smell, fruity, but with a little burnt rubber in it. Maybe, my olfactory library is limited. I can’t wait for someone to grow them out and tell me what they smell like.
