I’ve been impatiently creepin on the plants every day. Seeds take for ever to mature when you watch them every second! Ah dudes, I’ve been back to smoking the Panama Haze this week (FYI it’s a purple pheno from OT haze, but for some reason the one carrying seeds has zero purple, while her identical twin is purpled out). It’s like anxiety-free speed. If this paralyzer paralyzes as well at it paonias, I think we’re gonna have a panama good purple.
I only regret that these are gonna finish a nut hair too late and y’all will have to wait nearly 6 months to start them. Meanwhile, I’ll be either amped or paralyzed in a castle of my own making.

That PH sounds awesome. I have some supposed Panama Red. I’m going to try again this year. I got one to pop last year and had it flowering but a roommate neglected them while I was off for work. Not sure if it’s real or not. It didn’t really seem sativa’ish. But, it was small when it went to flower, so who knows.
I have one seed from some purple hindu kush a friend gave me to try… I’m going to grow it and get some PPP pollen on a limb or two. I think I’m gonna start it now and get clones and maybe flower one right after and grow the clones outside.
That PHK was the most solid purple bud I ever smoked, has a great high and the terpenes were off the chart. The guy that gave it to me is trying to get to a point to make seeds of it. It came from friends in NoCal. If he gets seeds or succeeds at making any, I’ll try and get you some. It won’t happen for a while.
If I make some seeds on her from the PPP, I’ll get you some of those…We’ll see. It’s only one seed, and the plant had lots of single late flower nanners in the bud he sent. I could care less. It was super good. Lots of Afghan stuff does that I’ve heard.

Flower day 56
These plants are fast as hell. I would probably chop them already except that they’re carrying seeds and I think a few more can brown up still. I might have even chopped them last weekend. Easily an 8-week plant, possibly as low as 7. Ambers already at the top. Good resin on both, shorter one has purple on the calyxes. I liked the bigger one that I killed the best, but too many damn nanners. That’s ok though, with 3 good males in play on these 2 ladies, I think we can find keepers and make some improvements over time.
I’ll probably clip a bud from each tomorrow, and let it dry. This weekend I’ll inspect the seeds and see how we’re doing.
Last, I thought it would be fitting for me to make dry sieve with the buds before I de-seed them. I have some 120um nylon mesh that I bought a while back. I ordered an embroidery hoop to stretch it over, and I’ll dry sift the buds before I wreck the shit out of them. We’ll see how it does in the rosin press!

Seed Test
One of the buds I clipped (right) was almost fully brown. The other was only about 50/50.
What I think I’m going to do is chop the tops, and reveg the bottoms in the veg. Bottom buds usually lag behind in development. I should be able to keep up with them watering by hand for another week or two, while I try to get the most out of them!

I do that often. I’m bad about not topping plants anymore until I’ve grown them once so I always have a bottom half of the plant that lags behind. Even with one extra week of the strong light on them will fatten them up. It gives them all that little extra uumph, heh.

Yea, I think they’re about as developed as they’re going to get without reveg. The plants haven’t really budged in about 2 weeks. Their growth phase is done. Gotta trigger the plants to start growing again to get those last greenies firmed up.

Actually, I had room, so I just put both plants into my 2x2 veg tent. I’ll just keep them alive another week or two under 24/0 and make up the rest of those. No hurry at this point since these are going to have to wait for the next box anyway.
