looks like some top quality bud. I am too late to get in on this run it seems, but I hope everyone enjoys those seeds
The next batch going out will be in the fall. Thanksgiving / Christmas or so.

The show is just starting, weâre only in scene one- The plane crash- .grab some zig-zags, some fermented Agave, something to munch on and buckle up!
This is your first seed run? Very cool. I only started 2 years ago. I only got back into growing around 5-6 years, and I never got to grow indoors with the gear we have now.
Making seeds is empowering for many reasons. Itâs a big part of gardening for yourself. I remember saying on another forum that I just couldnât see me ever get excited about breeding. I figured all I would do is grow it to smoke it. I wanted to just learn the genetics. That lasted one year or so.
Learning by doing is always powerful and failing is learning⌠Things go a lot faster once you do it. peace
Yes sir, first run. I seeded my A.K.47 and Bubblegum with a male Matanuska Thunder Fuck at the very end of a ten year indoor Dwc S.O.G⌠I got many many seeds off that controlled pollination. Turned off fans, put baggie over ball sack, popped it and let land on a q-tip a few times untill I covered one limb on each plant. Didnât know about storing and in my ten year inactive period lost all genetics I had, and I had some good ones. But every since that breeding I havenât stopped thinking about breeding my own strains. Well for the past 4 yrs Iâve been fighting demons to get back to what I love the most, growing and now learning and putting into practice breeding. And up till Nov. the demons weâre winning. But Iâm slowly kicking all their asses and in a few years Lord willing, my strains will be on the preservation runs. The strains(some) are already named in my head and will be straight fire, and purpl. ( Trademark spelling)
Yes sir, I think yâall have witnessed plenty of my failure lessons on this run, hard lessons, but ones you donât forget and I think learn the most from . Plenty more to come , since Im an open book, Iâll log all for yâall to witness. Thanks for hanging in on this crash landing, Happy growing!
@TheBubbleKing keep up the good work and continue to forge ahead!
I kick rocks, been kicking rocks for 58 years,so forward is the only way to kick rocks. Iâm going to try to flood o.G. with seeds .
I think Iâm about to pull #9. Looking like she had enough, one last pic before I do and Iâll log it for yâall!
Untill then
That bag seed is turning into a tree LOL! Good training job. And I mean that. Breaks happen, and the plants are quick to repair them and are much stronger after they do. Give it another couple weeks and thereâll will be an gnarly knot where that split happened. Can you get some supports under it for a while yet? A heavy heavy rain can finish splitting that plant. Once the plant is strong enough you can remove the supports. A stick in the ground works, a two by four, a chair. Anything. That was a good idea to add all the other lateral supports, but you may need to add a support to prevent it from dropping down to the ground in the event of heavy rain. You would know if it needs this better than I would though, as I am not there. Itâs just something to be aware of. Iâve had it happen. Looking forward to see how your seeds turned out . Fingers crossed! P.SâŚCanât wait to try the purpl!
I need to get my hands on some olâskool AK47 Then I can do it again
Good news all around! Great! I wouldnât worry too much about the lack of seeds if there is one. Itâs the effort that matters, and you excelled in that regard. There will be a bunch of them though, I think. I canât wait to see bag seed plant in 3 weeks. It will form an even canopy 8 ft around by the looks of it. You may need to train some of the new tops( I recommend this)away from the fence, and keep tying the top down. That plant will reach the top of that fence again easily without further training. When does flowering normally start for you down at your latitude? It should be earlier than up here correct? Because the days are shorter? Maybe the end of July for you down there? That gives at least another month of strictly vegetative growth. And then the stretching phase! Holyshit! You better buy some more rope LOL! You wonât have to worry about where youâre going to find your weed for the next year thatâs for damn sure haha. Youâll have to continue your thread just for the bag seed plant, or start a new oneâŚthe twin towers rise again!
About lil more than 2 months ago, we were guessing 14 to be male, then 16 flowered male and 14 showed female, remember? Santa Maria has been flowering for two months and bmbs for a month or lil less, Blu Ăblu ainât showing yet
@TheBubbleKing to be honest this is the first time i looked thru the thread. And dude am i happy I sent you the seeds. That number nine looks on point. Hows the smell? You will have to do a smoke report when ready lmao. Oh an i cant wait for #14 to finish fingers crossed on her. But anyways thanks for offering to do the co-op or seed run ect⌠Cant wait for everyone to get theirs
Cheers , happy growing
Any updates on the split plant? It should be getting around to forming a very nice canopy by now. One more week at most and it will be filled in very nicely. Iâd love to see a picture. Have you dipped into any of the seed buds yet?
Iâm happy you sent the seeds to! Thank you for the chance to be involved in this special group of this fine community. I tried my best to make it happen. I still havenât cleaned out buds for seed count, but I did cut a lower small limb a week and half after pulling. Stenill a little wet, kinda a fresh green smell. Really couldnât get a good burn. No big seeds in bud, lots of tiny imature white seeds. In next few days Iâll clean the plant. Iâve been real busy since I turned out lights. Still have a ton of things to do. But I will check back with whatever news it brings, good or bad. 14 is looking real good, I think this is definitely an outside plant. Gimme 4 r 5 more days and I should know. Thanks again @StevieG for making this happen so I could get my foot in the door. This wonât be my last run, only gonna get better and better!
