Well I think it’s dry enough to start cleaning.so I’ll start this morning early. 6:00 am.
First pic is three seeds from the brown shucks off #14, which will be kept separate. I’ve been letting #16 hit it every now and then trying to get a bunch of seeds but it’s just a few here and there it seems, so now I’m taking the cut off " 14 and spraying with C.S… to see what might happen there.
This is the big top off #9 I’m starting with. Update more later.
The inside middle of buds r full of micro imature and the outside of bud is where these came from. It’s like something stopped the first of pollination from growing and only the last of it matured
That’s the opposite of what one would expect. Strange. Never heard of such a thing. Bummer. No lack of trying on your part, that’s for sure. You set an example of perseverance for all of us to follow. Never Surrender!
And it ain’t over yet. Still got #16, which he is still flowering. Turning #14c1 into a male, I’ve been spraying C.S. for a week now, the whole plant…#14 seems to seed ok. I’ve pulled 5 mature seeds from her. Going to plant 16 next to 14, and when 14c1 is ready , it will get it’s turn . With half of #9 clean I’ve got 8 seeds from her and 5 from 14. If I have to I still have about 15 of the S.M. seeds sent to me and I’ll start over. If 14 doesn’t take the pollen and seed out
This was a lower limb,4th limb I cleaned. Cleaned the big top first, very disappointed. Anyway , best bud yet. But this is what I’m getting, there’s alot more of the tiny I’m not showing
Not making excuses, this was my 1st grow in 12 yrs, trying a new system, K.N.F…
But it blows my mind that 20 seeds is all I got.
I will dispose of them properly,with a ball peen hammer.
I don’t think they will meet the quality standard this community expects or deserves . Of the 2nd biggest top I got only 6 seeds, W.T.F!? Blows my fucking mind. At least every other day for 3 weeks I would hold the male over #9 and thump the stalk raining pollen.???

14c1 is my hope for success. 14 already has bout ten seeds maturing from 16. I will hand pick and keep separate from the reversed 14c1 seeds.
20 seeds and maybe an ounce of bud. I don’t want to say what I’m thinking and feeling now.
Hopefully #14 won’t let me down.

The King is not dead! Just figuring out the intricacies of his kingdom, that’s all. You are the model of perseverance buddy. That bag seed plant is starting to fill out like I expected it to. The most recent picture from before this one had me a little nervous, but the canopy is filling in nicely now. Good job. Everything’s looking really good! I don’t think you did anything wrong with the pollination, it could have been something with the genetics possibly? So strange. Keep on keeping on!

Shit happens. Only thing to do is keep ya head down and keep moving. Like you said, all is not lost. Just a hurdle.

Besides, unless you’re telling me you didn’t learn anything from the experience, you’re much better armed than you were when you started, so I say pop the rest of ‘em and keep on chooglin’.
Hey guys I really appreciate the kind words!. I’m not giving up by no means. Like I’ve said " it ain’t over yet". I just can’t figure this one out. 12 yrs ago, a male MTF popped on the only bean a planted, I did a controlled pollination and got a cple thousand beans of one limb off two diff plants . Basically one ball per limb on a q-tip. I let 16 live with 9 for 3 weeks with a fan blowing it. I’m leaning to 16 just sucks. Bad male. I know 9 and 14 can make seeds, I got a cple. That’s why I’m gonna turn 14s clone male. Which @Guitarzan is just one of the many many things I’ve learned since joining this comm. again in '17. I know more than alot of growers , I know a lot. But there’s those that know way more than me. The seed thing is new, I’m learning almost daily. But I had most bugs worked out by breeding time. I’ll do some reading when I get time and try to figure this one out. In 2-3 weeks I should be able to slow down and check it out… @Upstate, I thought I killed the right side for sure cause on top of the split it rotated and peeled bark and all the fibors were seperated. I’ve heard of this way of doing plants a long time ago but my opinion is don’t fuck with them,nostress at all, always growing. That’s what I like about the control bucket in the Dwc system. Once I flip 12/12, I never touch or move the plant xcept with a fan.and to harvest.

Sometimes the pollen just dosent seem to take. When i did the suges pk uzbeki run for preservation they were decent size outdoor plants that we’re absolutely covered in pollen and I got less seeds off those then I do from one small seeded plant indoors. One of the plants only grew about 20 seeds and was 6 feet tall, its like it was borderline sterile.
Generally that’s how I roll too. Sometimes you have to take drastic measures. Most times fear( oh fuck! That’s going to get tall) has been my motivator rather than some inspirational thought( hey, that will make for a nice bushy plant if I snap/ fold it and lop a quarter of it off). I’m going to have to give this treatment to some leggy Pulga plants that only get 5 or 6 hours sun. We’ll see if they turn into anything as nice as what your going to have.
Regarding the lack of seed, I have to agree that the male must have been sterile somehow. Kind of how the freak Show plants make white seed, maybe this male only makes immature white seeds. Glad you still have another shot at pollenation. One thing is for sure… if you found lots of immature seeds from an early pollination and finished seeds from a later pollination , you did your job properly. Once pollination happens it’s up to the plant.
Don’t let it get you down and don’t smash em with a hammer you worked hard for those. Just because they don’t have the tiger stripes doesn’t mean they won’t germ. My rule is if I can’t smash them in between my fingers they are probably good. Let them dry for a couple weeks, stick them in the fridge for a couple days and then try to germ them if they don’t then you can be let down. Persistence pays off in the end.
Naw man , I’m alright guys. I ain’t getting down, I figure it had to do with plants, but I did kill off several male and female seedlings that might have been the pheno that rocked the world . LEARNING EVERYDAY . I might give the seeds to a buddy, let him give it a shot. I’ve got some cloning to do in my remodeled lawnmower shed,then put a MTF in to flower, busy busy busy
Howdy Bubbleking. How’s the revegged males going? Any luck with them? And I have to ask about the Mexican bag seed plant. Any pictures of that one lately? It must be nearing the top of that fence by now I would think? Does it smell like it’s going to be a good one?
I’ve been spraying 14 everyday for a cple weeks, it still looks female. In a cple days I’ll make a new batch of c.s. with the pure silver and 3 9volts. All but 14 look like they wanna top the fence… 14 is the one stinking, skunky. Others just fresh green weed. Still a busy m.f. here. Knocking shit off the list tho. Almost caught up, then I go buy a 94 fema trailer, wtf was I thinking.
Naw, as bad off as my situation is here, you read my story^^^^, there’s people out here that are going thru just as difficult time as I’m going thru, xcept they are homeless, 3 diff people in the last 2 months come lived with me in my 12×12… I helpem get back on track then off to the races. So I bought a trailer to live in. I need better than a shed anyway… I’ll just turn it into a big growroom🤗
Here’s a pic for ya @Upstate , 3 days ago it started this. 1st day I took a mister to it 4 r 5 times ,2nd day I was busy, water hose misted twice, today busier,once at 10 am and once at 8oo . The heat has been unreal past cple weeks.
That sucks the right side is suffering. Must not be enough skin to keep up in the heat. How hot is it? Good idea to hose it. Hope it bounces back. The left side is looking great. That’s what I was hoping for. Lots of tops there.
Those seeds look nice. Good job. I wish I could answer yr question regarding cs spray. Maybe you could mess with its light cycle to get it to turn?
#14c1 is rooted outside. The bagseed was doing ok untill last week, the heat has been upper 90s heat index over 100, it’s killing the grass in my yard and I water it everynite

Now I have a Blue Oaxaca×Blueberry plant that turns out is a male planted 10 feet away from #14. So any seeds from now on from #14 I can’t gaurantee will be pure S.M.P. IBL. Except the few already growing that will be hand picked when matured. I still have several seeds left from the donation and will try a controlled indoor grow shortly. Hang in there and you will get some seeds. I ain’t giving up, you can’t fire me, I’ll still show up for work.
