Seed Stockers Spring Autos

Yup, I’m thinking autos as well.

Still got enough time for me to plant some if I go ahead and get them in my greedy little hands…hmmm…

I love that spot. Nice and weedy, haha, get it? :peace_symbol:

Yeah they’re awesome for a stealthy spring grow. The last picture I took was standing on a chair so by walking in my yard you don’t see them, in a few weeks the smell will be sketchy , and weeds haha drying out, but i won’t in invite peeps over til harvest. I plan on extending spot next year and maybe do 200!

Haha that’s too cool. :sunglasses:

I’m excited to watch the grass grow with ya.

Honestly, the way you got it setup reminds me of an indoor SOG, single cola style from clone…would be cool to almost take a “square-foot,” Gardening approach in that case. I can see many experiments being done as to companion planting and permaculture methods.

These people that overstep our freedoms as beings on planet Earth hate for the average person to realize how easy it is to grow your own, be it food or medicine. :peace_symbol:

Yeah thanks, prohibition blows “fo sho”. I used to know a guerilla grower who enjoyed the illegal aspect of evading cops and adrenaline of guerilla growing, avoiding rippers or what not. There is a big rush from growing illegally and harvesting a good amount guerilla style.
I used to hand water and then moved to swamp growing in the mountains. Swamp tubes were awesome (no watering) but swamps 2 hours from home was difficult (hauling in soil) , time consuming, and sketchy bringing it all back… The best I did was 3 pounds one season. Seeing what can be done indoors with hindsight, I could’ve gotten much more indoors. But the wife didn’t want any of that Indoor stuff haha and oh the adventures and the memories of being outdoors, scouting new spots, nature waking up, teaming with bugs and animals (ran into boars, deer, foxes etc) , staring at the stars and moon, listening to night birds, finding a secluded swamp, cutting the brush to let sun in, I have no regrets, being older and family man now, it wouldn’t be wise and not worth the harvest and the risk.
Once I was on my grow spot with 15 plants, in the middle of nowhere, and I heard a chopper closing in. I just had time to hit the ground and it was right there, flew really low, right over me, I saw the pilot’s head lol, but they didn’t see me, they kept looking straight ahead. It was the army doing exercises.
I got ripped a few times ugh that sucked.
Once I ran into some dudes driving 4x4s in the middle of the night, almost spotted me, I just had time to call my dog and jump in a ditch.
I had park rangers call me from their car, laughing, "hey we saw you, come out! " I was lying down until they went away.
Once security guards were night watching a new wind turbine construction site. Came after me in their car, I was in my car , I thought it was the cops, I scrambled to my harvest bag, threw it out the window. I had my dog so I pretended I was walking him at midnight lol, they told me gtf outta here. I had to go back on foot by night to get it back.
I got lost many many times. That was one of the worst parts(that and hauling soil, water and being stealthy) . Once I had to sleep in the forest to wait for day light to find my plants and water them.
Etc… Lots of stuff happened haha but never had issues with the law thankfully.
I was small fry anyway, back on an old grow site, “UDG” (Unleashdagreen)there were guerilla dudes growing literally 1000s of plants Bad Penny, Reibsi, Breeder Brad etc… legends!
Good times! Big adrenaline rushes! When/if it goes legal, I will go back to da swamp though! Nothing beats your plants growing on their own, you getting closer to the spot and smelling them from afar, and they’re there, beautiful, waiting for you to harvest them :+1::+1::+1:

love these stories and memories that you shared. thanks for that! i’ve sometimes wondered what it must be like to guerilla grow like you have.

I don’t feel they look that tall to be honest. The seed stockers gear i grew outdoors in a poly tunnel got to around 5ft. I’m north uk though so the sun isn’t that strong so likely been down to them stretching looking for more light. :v:

@highminwin , thanks, it’s fun to reminisce too. I dearly miss the excitement of growing big plants in the outdoors, being in the mountains, with my beloved dog.
He passed away this year, wow, it’s been 6 months, and call me sensitive but I’ve been crying almost every day since. He always had my back, was my alibi, my ears and knew each of my spots by heart. It’s weird to think that the maps to the grows he had in his mind are gone now. I think he liked all the Summers growing, cause believe it or not, he lived to be 17 years old, incredible for a Labrador husky. He was my “swamp dog”. I’ll be hard pressed to get another one as he was exceptional and his going was very tough. But I’m thankful to have been his best pal’ and to have saved him from health issues til the end. He cost me an arm! The last grow was when he was 13, then he was too old to walk too long. I’ve always had dogs, loved them all, but his kindness and his complicity in our illegal endeavors made a special connection. Maybe I’ll get another in the future but dayum that hurt and still does.
@Esrgood4u they’re doing good but I grew some autos in an open field with 12 + hours direct sun and they had much more bud sites and less stretchy limbs, but that’s cool, the spot is good especially in Spring, it’ll make decent buds :+1: I tried growing there in Summer and with lower sun they barely got 3-4 hours come September. Thanks for stopping in.

Exactly and frankly, watering by night is fun and all but being in your yard or indoors is just soooo much nicer. I would only water at night , it was craaazy, I was a overkill kind of dude, only got ripped twice out of a dozen grows, and I used to love being in the forest at night. Very intense and calming at the same time. Kind of a therapy. I liked the pot but also the adventure. But there are some real hard core guerilla growers, which I was not. I just tried to hit the 2 pound per year mark, didn’t always happen, to get enough for the year :+1:

You’ve obviously not watched “the Blair witch” then??

Oh I did freak out at times. Hence my dog who was a reassuring presence. And there aren’t any bears or mountain lions or serial killers here.
It was intense and probably what I was looking for. Once I stepped into the void of 10 feet and barely caught myself with one hand on a tree.
Once I had the impression someone or something was following me, as a noise was following me, maybe a curious animal, it was nuts. Also the night birds shrieking were scary. Wild boars also would be dangerous with their babies.
Sometimes I’d freak out to be abducted by aliens haha being all alone in the middle of nowhere but lol that never happened, at least I don’t remember it haha. The swamp tubes changed things as I no longer had to water so often. I did use water crystals and mulch to reduce waterings but it was a hassle without the tubes.
I had this thing with the night, it was my friend as I could water my plants stealthily, and with the moon and stars you really see q lot after you eyes get used to it. :+1:

oh man, i’m so very sorry for your loss. it sounds like not only was he an amazing companion and friend, but he was also with you through thick and thin. i know it can be a little lonely as a grower sometimes, even though we have our plant babies. there aren’t too many others who’d care to lug soil and water around, tending to these sometimes fragile plants. so to have him with you by your side through all of that as well is remarkable.

there ain’t anything that’s gonna replace him being with you, but i try to do my best to remember and celebrate the memories i’ve had with the loved ones whom i’ve lost in my life. and sometimes when moments line up just right, i can almost feel them hanging out with me wherever i’m at.

@highminwin yeah thanks, I’m a sensitive guy , writing with tears in my eyes, it’s a tough life, I know he was “just” a dog, and that people go through a lot of hardships and lose family but yeah, he was like my brother or son. The vet had to put him down for kidney failure. He lived to the most. We buried him in our local forest so we go see him. Yeah it feels he’s still with us. Such a faithful friend :+1::heart::+1:

the only things that are “just a dog” are the people who treat animals like they’re “just a dog”. i swear, dogs have more capacity for love and empathy than quite a number of people i’ve met in my life. i’m happy to know that you have a place where you can go be close to him. although y’know with relationships and connections like that, you’re never that far from them.

i lost a dear friend last year and thinking back on the times where i’d just be losing it and bawling my eyes out, i almost appreciate those times now. the grief is shitty, but just feeling those raw emotions and re-living the best times and feeling so close to my friend, it was fucking intense, but in a weird way it also made me happy to know that i had shared so many amazing experiences with such a remarkable spirit. they made an indelible mark on my soul which will forever affect who i am and that is a beautiful thing… that we can help and touch one another like that.

Very sorry to hear about your loss of your best friend. I can’t imagine and won’t compare a human loss to a dog, especially since dogs do live less and mine got an extra time with us, but some souls whether human or dogs are just so precious, and it’s not a bad thing to remember them even if it hurts real bad, we don’t forget and we go on and enjoy this life cause let’s face it, despite the hardships, hopefully most people think it is something exceptional and worth living :+1::+1::+1:

Hey folks! Things looking good in my neck of the woods. Plants in flower mode, on schedule for an end of june/beg july harvest! @LedZeppelin, thanks, yeah, no pest issues so far so good. I’ve been just plain watering them so far, i’ll do some tea soon for good measure. I’m pleased with the genetics, no males, plants had good vigour in veg, pretty big for autos, and now flowering quick, bud sites are filling in nicely, sweet perfume of fresh bud starting to come along nicely :grinning: :grinning: :grinning:
