Not sure it was a freebie from GLG, finicky little plant but is got a great sweet and sour strawberry taste with some gas behind it…,I grow and chuck for tastes and highs I like. Outcrosses have been better grows so far trying to bulk and not lose the taste . I did x it with my Maui Wowie F2 and I’m collecting some pollen from a Kona from same breeder now.

Maui Wowie tastes like menthol juicy fruit gum. No smoke test on the Kona yet lost first batch to bad soil and only a male on this one with 2 more left to drop and hopefully reproduce a few.

I have eyeballed that strawberry headband on GLG soooo hard. How is the final product? (I dont have bodhi to offer, just curious)

What sort of plant is it? I’d be interested. I’m trying to take notes now so I can get some proven strains on a list to work with.
It’s weird here, it’s super low humidity but we have a bad PM problem. I’ve had a few plants that were right next to others that were infected and they just never got it. Inside, as well.
It’s a pain in the but to deal with. Some plants continue to need attention and it never fully goes away. It really sucks when it shows up near harvest.
I had a cross a friend made and a little more that halfway through flower it smelled exactly like a bag of fresh opened skittles. I couldn’t get over how much it smelled like them. It wasn’t light, sort of, or kind of… it was dead on. I always heard of strains like that but questioned if they ever really smell like it. Before it finished, it lost the smell and the taste never transferred to the final smoke.
That’s my birthday, too, bro. I’ll try and get in. @OleReynard said there were some skunk phenos to be found in his AK47…? I been wanting to run them.

Well at this point I can say this plant does not get powder mildew at least not any of the varieties in my area, I’ve tried to make it get it from other plants with it and it just dosent happen. I’m going to stay quite about what exact plant it is as it’s not common but can be attained and every time I mention a project I’m working on it seems ten other breeders all of a sudden are making very similar things before my beans even dry. Some things have to stay proprietary untill ready and released to avoid the copy cats and rip off artists.
Most people aren’t going to do the work it takes to have pm but not have pm keep mother’s and test the ones in flower.
But to be vague it’s a hybrid with some unknown lineage in the back ground that behaves extremely indica dominate and I believe to have a good idea what part of it’s family tree is responsible for its immunity or extreme resistance.

I totally understand. It is worth paying attention to. Some plants seem to have immunity to it. I never dealt with PM in my life until I moved here and I never expected it would be in this dry climate.
