I had, and lost both Pink Kush (if “pink” had a taste and smell this plant was that.) and Gelato (sweet/sour milk) because I didn’t pass around cuts nor reverse them in time. I managed to do a small STS run of my Kosher Kush so I can find her again (lemon pinesol) but the UK Cheese is/was the toughest fucker of the bunch and thus is still with me.
I do need to STS them as well but so far there are 3 cuts shared across 3 provinces so I’m feeling good about this. 
My favourite share was shipped for free as part of Can(?)Post’s free shipping tuesdays in october.

Seems like the solution is to focus on reproducing more of the landraces, quoted from Bodhi below:
"…landrace/heirloom/neirika…. open pollinations of nierika and landrace or heirloom releases are always welcome, its up to you to keep the vibe alive and to insure maximum geographical and environmental expressions for the future.
