BUt iā€™m just waiting for the rigs and then, gonna pop the seeds from MSNL BubbleGum Auto and am gonna do it on 12/12 from the get go. Avoiding the plants to get too tall is a must, they must not be more than 30 inches. Weā€™ll see.

Iā€™ll be thinking good thoughts for you.

30 inches for the tents? They can be allowed to grow taller than that outside ?

Well i planted three BubbleGum Auto from MSNL, directly in the peat pellets and put them in a dome with little to no heat, and some humidity and in total darkness; after i took the pic the tent was shut. Will see this time, itā€™s Monday night 9.13pm. If they sprout they will be grown outdoor in 5 gallon pots.

Iā€™m still gonna use my tent with the lamp and all, but i dunno how long will it take to get here. As soon as it arrives iā€™ll be setting the tent up for growingā€¦ Finally!

I got two sprouted, showing cotyledons on the way up, the third one i can see lifting peat to crack the soilā€¦

This is BubbleGum Auto from MSNL. Sprouted in three nights, they were planted on Monday Night.

Itā€™s going outdoor. Since i donā€™t have my lamps yet. They are being constructed and shipped.

Yes thanks. But i finally found out why they were not germinating before. Thank God they were only freebies, but the thing was that i kept on using the heat mat under the dome, Rh was ok, but Temp was way too hot. I ended up cooking the seeds, everytime. Well, i tried to germ the beans this time using no heat mat, and here we go.

Who says you need a heat mat 10 degrees north of the equator, and with ambient temp of 25C all day longā€¦!?

I guess i just wanted to use the heat mat and all, like a little boy wanting to use his water toys with dirtā€¦ LOL

Hahahaā€¦that is too true.

Sometimes gadgets get in the way.
Keeping it simple is generally preferable.
But ā€œtoysā€ can be funā€¦too much so!

Well just as predicted, the third seedling is showing now. That gives me 100% germ rate, 3 seeds~3 seedlings. Do i place them under the sun now?

MSNL Seed Bank rocks. These seeds sprouted in 72 hours!

Yes, put them under the sun pronto.
Be aware that those jiffy pellets will dry out very quickly outdoors under the sun!

Will they not suffer under the Costarican sun? Itā€™s very bright, extremely bright and hot.

I do not think they will suffer. They will thrive!
Since the sprouts have not been under any indoor lights, there is no need for them to become acclimated to the sun.
I put my sprouts under the SoFla sun as soon as they begin to break the soil.

Just donā€™t let the pellets dry out too much.

I would put the pellets in a container filled with your grow medium in a couple of days tops.
Thatā€™s the great thing about those pelletsā€¦transplanting is easyā€¦just pop them into your medium and water them in.
I like to remove the netting first, but you donā€™t have to.

BTW, I have never grown any autos, but I donā€™t think they would react with any greater sensitivity to the intense sunlight??

I agree with @Calyxander, definitely get those peat pellets into the medium very quickly. Those dont do well under the sun.

Congratulations on the babies!
