Controlling the temperature at the apices is very good for bringing the lights closer. Also, the movement that the fan produces in stems and branches makes them stronger in combination with your beloved Silicon.

Great stuff for veg, but ever had flower where this stuff was used through the whole cycle? Its like your flower plus a side of salmon. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I am so happy you have spoken-up @Cbizzle. There were no real plans to back-off the Hydrolysate addition every third meal… but now I’m gonna have to look for some cautions, with N being a good start…

Can you provide any areas of Caution for me to try and avoid…
I’m also not used to being 2 weeks into Flower; week 5!!!

Cheers Bro

The plants do love the stuff. I just noticed a backend fishy taste when I used it all the way through. If you transition from that to your bloom nutes of choice as the flowers start to build, you’ll be good I’m sure. I’m not sure what your grow style is as I’m a salts guy, but when I was doing dirt, I really liked Build a Bloom and the plants did too. It was really just a heads up. I didn’t care for the fish overtones in the bud, lol.

And I raise a Toast to that. I am in for a long flower here, so I was not jumping to anything new. I did know the fish addition-time in Flower was limited… and had potential to Taint”

Now is the time, and knowing that the last feed of Fish Hydrolysate has already happened… I will fill that Void

Cheers again Bro

Looking fantastic

I do think you might be crazy starting this as outdoor season comes to an end. I’m trying to figure out how I’m going to chop/harvest/dry my meager number of plants and you’ve got this tent about to explode off the launch pad as your gargantuan outdoor monsters are coming in

I’ve heard people say that about the fish fertilizer but I’ve read both sides of the fishy taste argument. The hydrolysate I’m using doesn’t smell like fish. It’s not like the stinky Alaskan Fish fertilizer you find most places. I think it may be imagined. I’ll find out I guess.

From what I’ve read I don’t think plants eat or drink like that, it’s a chemical process up taking specific elemental compounds…not just wicking up organic material and distributing it throughout the plant. I’m still giving Panalawi the hydrolysate. Hopefully it’s not a mistake, I’m already almost done with the experiment :joy:

Congratulations on your outdoor despite the WPM threat and rain coming next week. I’m learning a lot watching your stuff, indoors and out!

Ahaa Oh man this deserves a Morning response @FieldEffect, long day. Just packing-in the Watering and more Female discoveries…

Exciting looking plants, this crop gets thinned in the next day!or two. Up-potting has to start, and some plant bending. Yanked a few Yellow leaves, they look pretty calm.

Lone Male discovery to date. Oaxacan C, alone, right up front, below.
** the plant mid-picture, is a Short Squirrel Tail, and IT is gorgeous @Tlander… and IT is still not showing Sex ! But has a wider lower structure

And of course, I nearly shit my pants, seeing a few keeled over Thirsty. Lol oops. Here they were. First time hitting 3 days without

ps. 10 oz of Frankenstein Bud goes into the sous-vid for brekky !

Lowering the Lite schedule on Purple Lemonade, she’s moving to the big tent in a couple days

All I can say this morning, and Good Morning by the way @FieldEffect, is I’m only doing what I can. When I can.

And there are guys like @Tlander that just don’t stop… and its just a few ganja projects that have overlaps.

I am Lucky that we did not Taint the 2023 crop with a stinky fish fert… but the trout hydrolysate, if I have to put a fragrance to it, was Malt Vinegar. And it was used at 50% recommendations, cuz we have Fed the soil… but it was also only used every third meal.

Seriously, these Heirlooms are so Healthy. I am simply thrilled that this portion of the grow, leaves us making tough decisions… and yeah, it is comforting, seeing a late-season WPM in a 9’tall plant, and our answer is almost like a Shrug; we’ve got it !

Straight ahead my Friend. Enjoy this Sunday !!! Thanks for the message !

Tonight is a Feeding session
Tonight is a Up-potting session, with an inaugural bottom feed in a 3-gal box.

As well I have found a home for the Extra plants, and it’s a Bonus all the way round. So legitimately tonight, the crowd gets thinned.

There is a great “grow shop” in Chatham, Ontario and they run a “Live-Tent” in the shop. Owner is a great guy for anybody growing London to Windsor…

I just filled his Demo tent for the next 17 weeks lol tomorrow morning they get delivered.

Its high time the training started, today is a good day to start.

Cheers gang

Today is going to be a great day, again.
Last nite a bunch of Branch-Bending and up-potting happened, and tonight the final 3 Keepers, will be re-potted and trained.

As planned, the taller plants were placed in 3 gallon pots, a circular metal frame was installed, and we softened the stalks and attached them to the frame. 4 out of the 7 keepers were shaped, we will do the last 3 tonight, according to size….

And the healthy 7 Ladies that Did Not make the cut, get delivered to the grow shop this morning. Here they are below

This picture hurts for me to look at. Sorry @Budderton, @iceman, but this is a Bhadra below, my Friend. At 30” tall already, she nearly made it the full circle…

Carribean Dream was next, below @Roms

Oaxacan after Up-potting (below) and thats her at the top of the next picture, getting attached to the frame

4 out of 7 complete.

Now the goal here was to lay the plant horizontal, and promote all of the secondary branching, to go Vertical. Then its pruning decisions once she starts to Go

The Autoflower is in the tent now (white-bag) and the 3 plants yet to be trained, will not be as drastic, but shaping is in the plans

All the plants had a good meal as well, ~ 350ml ea

Quick update, no work was done to the plants last nite, but their response to the Shaping has been spectacular.

Here is the Bhadra, less than 24 hrs after being, well… re-arranged.

Colas are pointing upwards and all Leaves have righted themselves.

Forward it is. Dinner tonight; Castings Tea, Kelp Meal, B-Vital, Amino Acid, Epsom Salt, Gypsum

Here was the plan as conceived, pretty darn close, I’m kinda shocked

A peak in the back finds Oaxacan on the left and Squirrel Tail right. Just Chillin
