You’re brave. When I started the Thai breeding my base genetics was 7 females and 5 males. And depending on which pheno a flower time of 12-17 weeks. And I probably ran 20 clones from the girls. Patience Sucks! But I crossed the wide leaf female pheno with the wide leaf male. The luck of the Irish! The product was a short flowering weed with Thai Terps and lots of THCV found only in Southeast Asian Strains.
Myself I like the Panama but not as much as the Thai. But I’m planning on growing a Panama soon.
Lets hear it for the Panama, looking forward to your 2024 efforts @SativaKid
Big Dinner of Worm Casting Tea, Molasses w/ P & K boosts, amino acid and a 6.5 pH
Each plant fed to run-off.
Very likely Congo had locked us out lately. so she had a “big” Dinner at pH 6.4 w/ a good mix of basic organic nutes. And then some. Will be nice to see her recover. Definite improvements in the 3 plants, big-time.
Congo’s in the back right. Pics tomorrow, I’m grabbing seeds from her dry-bits. Oaxacan was hung up last week. Rather, we pulled the plug b4 the relocation
Looking forward to the pics today. Gunner seems particularly interested in this grow
I need a Panama hat when I’m smoking my Panalawi. It’s a favorite here, I think of you every time I smoke it or smell it. Looking forward to trying the cobbs, so far I’ve managed some semblance of self-control and haven’t ripped into them until they get 6 months.
Cheers hope you have a good day today. And holiday with your family. You are alive and kickin’ that’s certainly something to be grateful for
I still the the photo you submitted, sitting in your chair in the Corner, assessing your Buds… calmly looking out on Humanity
Kudos to the long cure, and leaving them alone !!!
Last nite I opened a Pak of Nuggets that were… resting; Pole Dancer (dominion diesel x lime bukkake).
Holiest of Cows… the Pole Dancer rocks. I had forgotten the Diesel component in this Strain. Lime is the first bursting taste, then its simply RUN-OVER by a Diesel super tanker lol
Solid, Stoned and Giggling, whew She is a Beauty without any doubt !
We are on the wrong end of this Family-Health rope this time round @FieldEffect. Last nite we were Back to the Hospital w/ my partners Mom. She’s Admitted, Palliative maybe the destination.
Have a Great Holiday with your Loved-ones and to the OG’rs reading this.
Bhadra looking like a happy lady
Squirrel tail shaping up
How’s Congo?
They sure look bizarre compared to what you usually see. Thanks for running this great experiment
Have not edited her shots yet… but there are fresh gorgeous Pistils and Oh man, I collected some seeds lol
Her fresh new buds are … lets say, inspirational
This Congo plant reacted most obviously of the 3 plants, to the intermittent humidity and it “Pruned” ie: dried-up when she had enough LOW HUMIDITY.
I have a few sections of Colas, that are crispy, but have pockets of seeds. They are hanging and these CONGO seeds are to be saved. (figure out whom the male parent is later. (only 5 choices)
So seeing fresh new growth across most of the existing branches is a bonus
Squirrel Tail
The Squirrel Tail does not have a Lot of seeds, but their markings are heavy with consistent Dark Streaks… like a “Dash”
Below: Open and Airy this is a Busy Bhadra below x 2
CONGO seems to be coming out of her Funk… tba But, she is full of Seeds.
What smells are you getting off the squirrel tail? I have 2 about 3 weeks in flower
Morning @Jimdoors, Week 13 and there is a Lemon stem-rub and no real outstanding fragrance from the plant… BUDS seem to be bursting out and forming right about now…
Last Nite (26th) @Jimdoors I could Not Help but notice the Squirrel is getting pretty damn Sticky !! New Observation
Did the Ozone help?
we are 3 weeks removed since the application @SativaKid, and the leaves have been FUZZ-FREE.
NO ISSUES SIR !
Not as good as Sulfur in Veg, but awesome emergency treatment in flower.
Week 14 of Flower has also turned the Tent into a Nursery.
Seeds from the Squirrel Tail have fallen and Germinated… into their own Substrate…
Guess those seeds are going to Work just fine. In the meantime the Squirrel changes daily !! Loving the details of the tiny buds as they stack-up individually
I’m putting a Flip together for you @Tlander, if theres ever a chance of you growing One Squirrel Tail, I’m sending a Dozen.
Squirrel Tail seeds dec 2023 below
Well, it’s a bummer you got seeds but at least you had a crew of exciting exotic male dancers in that tent. Whatever the babies are they should be interesting.
Interesting that they “pruned” up with the low humidity. I wouldn’t have thought that but that’s the reason they were moved. Bummer. Makes sense now that it’s all trickled between my ears.
Neat on the natural sprout coming up and I love the foxtails shooting out
I’m going to Extract the Seedling, and see if we can Push her a bit.
I may have a local grower interested.
Just so happens that I’ve got 3 Autos reaching for a Light… The new Squirrel won’t be lonely
2x Russian Tzar Bomba (rtb) and a Zamaldelica
Russian Tzar Bomba
@FieldEffect ; with the Congo and Oaxacan I say pruned; “Locked-out” is probably more accurate, for the plant(s) to Stop uptaking water as the pattern showed. The Oaxaca was 1st and caught us mid-events, and quickly crumbled, Congo is limping along, just saving the seeds really. Congo has now been Flushed twice w/targeted pH of 6.4
Sq Tail and Bhadra handled the scenario and have endured well enough, they are going to Finish Strongly!
Thats about the Bluntest assessment yet
- soil amendment goes On/In tomorrow, week 14
- As of the morning of the 30th (today) there are 3 seeds germinated and above ground, Under the Squirrel Tail.
Pics tonight, I’m Re-locating one of them
Found a Seedling from the Squirrel Tail that had taken hold. Thats what you get with Long Flowering strains I guess.
I had no idea I would find 4 more a couple of days later !! Of course Gunner watched the whole show
Main Cola Squirrel Tail
Collecting seeds from the Squirrel, below
Congo still has us locked-out, so she gets chopped tonight/tomorrow and we’re going to harvest the Seeds! (below middle)
Fresh Seeds from the Squirrel Tail and any member of the 5 Male heirlooms she shared a tent with. There just might be a Few different Fathers represented within… but its a Famous group already
In a Weeks time, these Autoflowers below, take Congo’s place in the 11 hours of Light tent. We’ll see how that transition goes. May even BBP them !! 2 Russian Tzar Bomba’s and a Zamaldelica from Ace.
- Day 8 above ground
