Sept 2023, Landrace / Heirloom Challenge

Squirrel Tail Sr. Just did not have enough positive stuff left to Finish this trip.

Looks like she has fully entered Seed production mode, and I’m accepting of what she’s produced already, and am ready to collect the seeds available.

Her Bud production has stopped in Week 21 is what I’m seeing.

She is swinging from the rafters right now. New tent profile below

  • While the tent was being shuffled around, I sprayed the walls and equipment with a 200ppm Hypochlorous Acid solution. As the plants were re-loaded, they too were sprayed above and below ea leaf. Fyi, still working to keep wpm out of the dialogue.

Russian Tzar Bomba (below) has hit 85cm of Stalk

Russian Tzar Bomba autoflower is just trucking along. In using the ProMix CONNECT, there is quite a difference between these two siblings. I used it on plant #1 during an Up-Potting from 2 → 3 Gallons. Go #promix
59cm left, 84cm right

Cannot wait to compare the root balls when we are done; with & without. Same diets

Bhadra had a little yellow leaf removal last nite and she is trucking along. Drink time tonight

The floral aroma/taste sounds interesting. When I smoked tobacco with a hookah I’d really enjoy the rose-infused flavors. I wonder if it’s reminiscent of that.

Lord. The hookah. Got me addicted to nicotine. But reminiscing a bit, I still look for those flavor profiles I was exposed to through that. Blueberry, citruses. I hadn’t made the connection until just now but all my weed smells like that :joy:

Hoping your hanging Squirrel Sr produces some good smoke as well.

The autos are really blowing up! Did you use any mycorrhizae product on the control? I’m guessing not but curious. It’d be cool to do a side-by-side of several brands.

Cheers buddy :slightly_smiling_face:

You are 100% correct @FieldEffect. I have not applied any of the CONNECT Innoculant to plant #2

Its a completely needed skill to be able to call upon these Bud fragrances… when trying to define your plants smell-status.

Bud fragrances for a second:

It Would be sooo Kool if someone could develop a Bud-Board that contained the Standard fragrances, through the time-tested Scratch n Sniff method.

Kind of a sounding board, when your stumped in the field by a New smell

Might be cool if you had a referral scratch of just what Sandalwood or even Cat Piss smells like.

“holy shit does that ever smell Piney !“ Would be perfect

PS, I’m quietly shopping for a Chillum this week. Porta-Hukka

Simply too bad for the Autos, but the lights are further reduced to a 10.5/13.5 schedule.
Just for the Bhadra. Thanks gang. @Rogue @Upstate

I’m interested in the weight difference of the dried trimmed buds, or the amount of hash.
The second one just seems more lanky rather than bigger buds.
Could be that it simply produces more fiber…
When insisting on bigger yields and forcing things there’s always a trade off.

As they say @Rogue, the BBP removes any internal limits on the plants growth, which can only add proportionally to the yield I feel.

Both root-balls are going to be opened, thats the first place I’m looking when we’re done.

My first attempt at a side-by-side like this, tba

Fans are off, humidifier is on, had to grab some of Gunners attitude !

what r u looking at ?

Zamaldelica Auto, Ace Seeds

Squirrel Tail was put into a Bag and Shaken. Only green buds remain on the stems, and there is a lot of dry debris but many seeds have arrived. Morning puff was amazingly tasty as a floral smoke and my activity has been constant and effortless.

Morning OG’rs, while it lasts…

Last nite saw me clean-up all the dead, almost pine-needle like fan and sugar leaves that have been sucked dry this last month. And I have to say, the Bhadra cleans-up well. Here she is.
Working my way down each branch, it seems that she is more a cargo carrier of Seeds, rather than a true Bud producer.

Yes she has a few proper buds it seems, but it would be nice to see some of these clusters getting truly phat. She’s a beauty, there are Trichomes, and of course, it’s not done yet.

Did I say today is the start of week 22 in Bloom. It’s true.

Please feel free to comment, I have no targets or goals on this grow other than to do it.

There is not much info or imagery available about the Bhadra strain, so here are some close-ups of where we currently are. Week 22 of 25… 26?

Autos and Out

Cheers Gang

now at least i can handle it and not have seeds dropping all over.

I wish I had space to plant to cross seeds, but I don’t and so I focus on filling my cellar with marijuana!

I am in the days of harvesting/looting my plants, at the same time gathering strains for the next season.
I got some feminized landrace seeds from Colombia Gold/Santa Marta.

I have guerrilla plans for homemade seeds, I am going to grow them in the forest at their free will to see the phenotypes, in the end the pollinator was the hermaphrodite Royal Purple Kush plant from msnl seeds, now I have feminized seeds crossed with this plant from six different strains of the previous season, it’s exciting for me!

Remember that you promised to plant some Queen Mother seeds outdoors that I sent you in the first email, in the end they are not S1 seeds, they are a cross between Queen Mother and Purple Shot from Exotic Seeds, the crop I am growing has turned purple Pay attention to the harvest! :raised_hand_with_fingers_splayed::smiling_imp:
