Sign of Healthy Growth or Potential Problem?

hey friends! noticed something interesting in my grow recently – the stems on my plants have started to thicken up. While this is often seen as a precursor to better growth, I’m curious if it could indicate any potential issues down the line.

Considering the number of nodes of this puppy, your observation is an early hormonal activity. It want reproduction asap. Generally on this kind of specimen, you can observe “nodules” at the base of secondaries when the process is fully engaged. A bit like a bald man with a fur of a gorilla : sign of testosterone in excess, even with an intense physical activity.

It’s a trait that can be considered as a reliable marker, but that will not really indicate a binary grade if not linked with another trait responsible of the grade itself of the plant. The only obvious thing for now is the unbalance of auxins in regard of others hormons kicking atm. Not necessary the sign that the plant is not acting like spring, by example many skunks hybrid act like this. Letting you believe it’s a flat low rider indica that thicken as fuck … until the specimen wake up its blend of sativa’s juice to try to just make holes in the roof ^^
