I’m growing some Rainbow SSOG S1’s from the fisherman himself, Smellboat! Would love to see anyone else’s plants too.
Rainbow SSOG = OGKB x Red Vine
Red Vine = TK x Chocolate Cherry
Chocolate Cherry = Chocolate Thai x Rev’s Cherry Thai

keep returning to that jar… glad i kept it. Got her running from clone again already. Idk what it is but its just good herb.
I’ve never heard of them before, where are they from? Are they known for anything? If it’s good smoke, it’s good smoke!
Let this thread also be a reminder that S1 can be all over the place and to not think you’re going to get a bunch of plants similar to momma. I’m a reg guy, but sorting through a bunch of S1 is lots if fun, especially if you know the parents…

Hey, one of them was quite awful (it smelled crazy but the fun ended there). The other two (2 and 3) I held onto until I had been trying them for over a month. #2 I just can’t stop smoking, still now I just keep going right back to it. It’s like 8/10 on every single category. The last one (#3) looked awesome, was very dense, had that thai (or ogkb ?) look to it. Smelled good, smoked good etc but man, the high. I had to let her go. Hard to explain and I personally do think its the thai influence but its just an intense but crystal clear high and I didn’t care for it at all. Both are very strong. I’m re-running my favorite one now from clone.
that #3 you described sounds like some thai!!. All the energy of potency goes to your lobes instead of your body. That would be my keeper haha. It does great things for creativity if you have a good outlet. But you cant smoke that all the time, thats for sure. Nice that you find one you like for regular use. It is a real beautiful project with the thai’s potency and more modern bag appeals in the rainbows. Hope i can get some of them beans one day. Thanks for lowdown
All I know is that Smellboat seeds are a part of breeder syndicate and is a friend of Matt Riot. Personally that doesn’t mean much since I’m very neutral towards him/they, but I know that there is growers who have strong feelings leaning both ways.
