So here we are OG, this so far has not been great but you know what, that’s perfectly fine. I figure we got that part out of the way now. I bought a new heat mat and was sent a controller to test by Inkbird and I am thinking it got too humid and warm in there for the fragile little things. One of the seedlings went yellow and the cotyledons are falling off, the other 2 seem to be doing better. Since 2 plants are not going to do the job I am dropping more seeds, switching out the heat mat and controller for my original one and carrying on. That piece of gear is the only thing that is different and 2 kinds of seeds basically did the same thing so I figure it’s worth a shot. Stay tuned fellow OGers, this is just getting started.

LOL, well technically the heat blower could be used for climate control but no, not for the plants.

Shoot man, this time of year? Who needs heating mats to germinate seeds? Course what do I know? I germinate mine the old fashioned way. Paper towel folded a couple times wet down not flooded but very moist. Put in plastic baggie, unzipped, on top of the fridge. 24-36 hours does the job.

They are germinating in my basement.and the central air is on, the mat helps. That said it’s a new matt and controller so going to lose it and go back to my tried and true.

Ah, basement! I see now. We don’t have basements here where I live. Mostly concrete slab.

No basements? Where do you dismember your victims then?

Murder barn?
