This is the keeper pheno, in terms of quality, that I found and trimmed last night. In terms of yield she may as well have been an auto tho lol. I’ll post up pictures of the others two plants when they’re done but they leaned towards the Bogglegum side.
Well here we go, home from work and darned if these little gems are not showing signs of life. Here it comes, can you feel it, good things are heading this way. 4 have sprouted tails, 1 cracked and is showing a tail on the way. The last 2, well, they are just a bit more laid back but will hopefully come around.
I believe Doug, they’ll pop. Props for being cool hand Luke on this one, if I had this many eyes on me I might be breaking out the scuffing pads exact-o knives and wands and crystals just to save face. Makes me think I’d be in trouble if I played a hand of poker against you buddy
LOL, I am pretty good at poker As for all the eyes watching, meh, it’s all good. I will do my best and that is all I can do so I don’t worry about looking bad. If I am going to do a journal you all are going to see the good, the bad and the ugly. I just hate those who cherry pick only the good stuff to show, any grower should know that when dealing with nature things don’t always go your way. Even if this run crashed and burned I would know I did all I could and I would try to learn something from it. Do that and there is no such thing as a failure.
Hey there OG. So things are shaping up with the Sour Bubble, tails are growing well on most of the seeds. Will be putting them into Coco pellets soon. The Grape Punch does not seem to be doing anything. Perhaps pop by the Grape Punch thread to give your opinions. Here are the Sour Bubble.
Now that’s how you glean current hip-speak gentlemen. I am thrilled to learn der Junge have an actual representative term for us! As an Old I feel some pride having a derisive nickname that actually describes what is impugned, it implies relevance.
Hey all, well after a really tough day I came home to check my seeds in hopes of relaxing. Sadly it was just more bad news. 2 of the tails turned yellowish and fell off when I move the seeds, I cracked the seeds and the embryos had turned to mush. The 2 that did not seem to crack actually had when I looked under a magnifier. I broke them open and put the embryos into paper towel. The remaining 3 went into coco pellets so we have 3 planted, 2 turned to mush and 2 embryos are sitting in paper towel. Not a great start but the run continues on. If the embryos grow than great, otherwise I will drop the other half a pack and keep moving forward. Sorry for the bad news.
Thanks bud, it’s a bummer but you are totally right. I have 7 more seeds and those 2 embryos still have hope. One way or another, this is getting done. When I look back those seeds only soaked for 9 hours, I usually do 24. Could be I just didn’t soften them enough.
Hey Doug! I know it’s hard and frustrating when things don’t go as planned. Just keep it up you’re doing an awesome job. As repins said shit happens. I am just happy to be along for the ride and see what the outcome is whether good or bad. You got this though buddy I have full faith in you!
