Sneak preview of Hawaiian Heirloom by @cannabissequoia

This is my first time growing peppers from seed…man…popping weed seed is so much easier :joy:

I killed at least 5 during my germination attempts. Very excited to try them out!

I’d like to get some recommendations on peppers to grow outside I az. Not too hot but full of flavor. :fire::fire:

Check out Trinidad Perfume. It grows and tastes like a habanero, but has no heat. Aji’s are another low heat with a lot of flavor :yum:

Started some Ghost, Carolina and Habaneros from seed. Didn’t have the best germination but a few made it.

Fig cuttings in stasis kept in the fridge bottom drawer and still green…I put them there in Autumn 4 months ago, now I’m gonna root them, hopefully they will root…

Aji varieties are awesome in the desert! Minimal heat, tons of flavor.

I would love that honestly. I like hot stuff but everyone else in my household is pretty mild.

My heirloom jalapenos last year did really well, so much better than store bought.

DM me and I’ll send the chocolate poblano seeds to you.

This thread getting bumped was like a bit of fate. I say this because I finally asked the maker of the citron seeds if it was ok to share them. He said it was ok! So if any chili heads want some, I have some from last years harvest. They were fresh frozen, but I have had really good luck getting them started. They were not isolated, so there is a chance they have crossed with either ring of fire or hot paper lantern, but all the seedlings I have now look like the citrons. Won’t know for sure til fruit sets. So at very least some nice citron crosses. I will say that my chili seeds have always run true to type, maybe my bees are too distracted to mess with the chilis haha. Fatalii isn’t shipping to the US anymore, so I’m kinda taking it on myself to keep these around over here. Shoot me a dm if you’re interested. I don’t have a ton, but can definitely get some out to folks who plan to grow some out, ideally you’d save some seeds for yourself too…

Hey @potpotpot , I can get them germinated as soon as they arrive!
I’m late starting peppers this year anyway, so I’m starting some chocolate Habs, and douglah’s in about a week, and I would have space for the Citron

Nice, couple people interested. I’m gonna make a curry and reserve the seeds, planning to mail this weekend if anyone else wants some.

I’d grow some, can you ship to Canada?

Hi @potpotpot!! Do they really have a kinda citrus / hot taste!? Interested too!!

Yeah, they really do, like crazy. I have grown many varieties of pepper, hot and sweet, and these are my favorite ever, for that reason. Citrusy, but dry, not super sweet. Send me a dm with your details and I’ll get some out to you. :+1:

I’m about ready to send these out-- most of the people listed haven’t PMed an address, so here’s your late reminder. :clock11:
