Specific gravity help. Measuring nutes

Hello. Simple math. Question for someone I skipped all these classes in high school

Minuscule nutrient measurements are needed and I’m not confident in my syringes can I just weigh them instead ?? I need the formula

Example the specific gravity of liquid in question is 1.17. I need 11mL. If I multiply 1.17 and 11 will that give me the weight in grams??? TIA

You could cut the strength of your nutes to start. Lots are mostly salts and water. Mix more water. I’ve seen warm water suggested if nutes seperate.

Yes. 11 ml of a solution with density of 1.17 g/ml is 11×1.17 g.

You can test your syringes by knowing that 1.0ml of tap water is 1.0 g. but there is no need to be exact. Use your syringes for hydroponics even if you knew they are not much precise.

@immygod gave the answer I was hoping to get didn’t want to fry my plants. It’s the Athena cleanse and it’s added 1-2 ml per gallon. I have a pretty nice Oahus. Btw. Thanks people always appreciated
