Starting a NEW chapter

I’m on the way. :joy:. FF is good. I’ll use almost the full line. Easy feeding chart.

Outdoor is a whole different experience for sure. Just started going outside about 4 years ago. What a difference.

Just about to use led lights for the first time also. I’m sure that will be a lot different than hps. Must keep learning!

Great job

I use the top three for everything. When I go into flower, I usually start using Open Sesame for a couple weeks, then Beastie Bloomz for a couple weeks, then Cha-Ching until about a week or so before harvest. Then just water.
And again, I never use the recommended dose. Half, at most.

They deff are the three mains to keep you going but when flower comes around the open sesame then later on the bud booster deff helps …a bonus is the sledgehammer-A Flushing agent to avoid excess salt build ups

I went to look for some happy frog soil one day …a while ago the store downsized and switched over to more of a pet appliance store but they still had some gardening items laying around …she said no we don’t but check this out …led me to the office …she pointed at a box and wouldn’t you know it “Dirty dozen fox farm nutrient pack “was sitting right there …
She’s like it’s a couple months expired and we can’t sell it but since we don’t have your soil you can have this🙃

I was stoked and that’s what turned me on to it
They also have added a few more products to the line …
I recommend using the “plainest “ soil you can find when using FFN

I have been using Happy Frog Soil and the Fox Farm Trio for years. I tried others but always came back to this. It’s what I’m use to and what I know. Two or three years ago I started using the Beastie Blooms and was satisfied with it, so I started using the Open Sesame and the Cha-Ching as well. I do like it and I think it is very helpful in bud stacking.

i’ve used fox farm ocean forest with the trio for 10 years. only used the beastie bloomz/opensesame/cha-ching for my very first grow and plan to get it again this time around. i’m really unhappy with the ocean forest soil though, it’s nothing like it used to be.

I’d ran cha Ching a while back didn’t notice a bunch of difference. Maybe I missed its window to work?

I remember one year filling up five gallon buckets with the trio and lugging it to the outdoor ladies just because that’s all I knew

You have to run it hot. It wants a ppm over 2000 some weeks. I had big buds. I use flower fuel now. I liked it I just switched to advanced nutrients. Almost a year now. The open sesame is a little hot.

I didn’t run it “Hot” but at the end for several weeks I went from using nutrients every other watering to using nutes almost every watering. Maybe that’s where my difference came???

I think it has like 3% nitrogen that’s a lot per tablespoon or teaspoon. Plus the other mix. I still liked it the plant food part I can’t think of the name of it the one with the little fox gets a little stinky.

I’ve had some good results out of it and I had some that wasn’t so good. But I believe it was the strain. FoxFarm works well with the other products. @BigMike55 said less is more. It does get a little salty. I think it’s open Sesame Ching Chang and I can’t remember the other one. Flower fuel will do the same thing. And is a lot cheaper.

That could of been my issue not pumping the nutes to them enough . Used a whole jar of it up on my crop if I remember right it was 38/40 bucks worth .

If you don’t mix up Fox Farm like it says in the order you can have a nutrient lock out. I’m not the guy who made it but I know that it can happen with other products if it’s not mix very well before adding your next.

The products usually work better when paired together …also make sure to flush when recommended ! To avoid salt build ups wich can cause nutrient lock out

I have done things. When you start having problems like that you need to bring your pH down lower so you can get rid of those solids and those heavy medals. I say drop the pH down to 5.5. That’s the tail end of your medals. If you look at the chart your magnesium those heavy solids like that or the ones you need to get out first. Just me. Water is your best friend. I push mine pretty hard. I run that PPM pretty high.

Everyone here grows nice bud. I’m the one who gets to much going. I’m happy with my grow. It could be better. I don’t want all my plants over 3 feet tall. I grow in 1-3 gallon containers. So I have had to change it up. We grow better than the dispensaries. I think my weed is good.
