so I have been thinking about my old stash boxes and such an got to wondering now that all these states have gone legal has anybody upgraded the way thy keep their shit together? come a long ways from just an old cigar boxes and cookie tins. I myself have used both back in the olden times which I have found to be to small for my needs do ya mind me askin if and what u all use and what features you like and dont like about tthem?they have changed up quite a bit over time. one of the first ones I made had a built in rolling tray on the top that had a grove cross the bottom to catch all the seeds I had to clean out of my bud made outta walnut and cherry that had a few compartments for hardware (roachclips, screens, papers and such!) nowadays ppl dont store their weed the same way. yer thoughts?
Sounds like a really nice piece of kit, got any pictures?
I was thinking about building some wood humidors for my kids (28, 30). Something that would hold basic gear and 4 glass storage containers.
My stash(s) are brown Mason jars…
Bro you gotta check out jtoucans on IG. He makes high end stash boxes, custom engraving, rare and exotic woods, customized to how you smoke, inset rolling trays, his work is amazing.
IDK how he does pricing but it definitely LOOKS expensive as hell.
I use Nalgene water/smell proof jars
He did a nice job on that. I see you have a ‘couple of miles’ of use on it too.
Nice piece of kit!
Yeah I do, but recently broke the glass insert on the bottom.
It’s really nice! You could pour a layer of poly or clear epoxy into the bottom and make it like a nice kief skating rink down there.
Take the measurements to a local glass shop probably cost you less than 20 bucks to have a piece cut and have a quick polish put on the edges so it’s smooth probably bout the same for mirror
Glass work was a short lived career choice for this guy nothing worse than knowing your gonna cut yourself at some point in the day lol
Edit : see it’s a drawer take whole drawer into shop tell them it’s to a jewelry box
I just need to have my dad cut me a new piece. He probably already has one laying around.
