I have been thinking about trying Athena nutrients. In your experience, any pros or coms you wish to point out? Also, what medium do you prefer using Athena with?

Pros… the plants love it.
Ease of use
They were very generous with their samples they sent!
They have a product for everything
I do really like their products
Cons… you must flush. They DO have a product called " Cleanse" . I still flush the last 2 weeks.
Not really a con. 
I would recommend “Athena” to any grower.

I think you should call it Bobba Kush or Bobbi Kush. It is your selection so folks will know its your Bubba Kush line.

TBF, my cut is an F2 not an F1 like these are, but mine gets the Blueberry Muffin smell starting around 60 days into flower. Before then she’s pure Sour Butter. Taken to decently amber, it’s sour butter on hot blueberry muffins and kush.

Do you apply your Athena nutes at their suggested rates, Bobbi? My plants do t like their 3.0EC target, my plants look much better around 1.2EC

I don’t use their ratio.
I actually do individual. Depending on the plant and strain.
Some like it weaker, some want more.

That makes sense. Since I grow in hydro, I try to give the strongest concentration that is conducive to the proper growth of the plants which prefer the lightest rates, like OG’s, Triangle, and Bubba. There are definitely plants that can take higher rates.

I only have this one cut. It came from @420noob and he told me it was the 90’s kush you sent him. Does he also have your bubba? If so, I Wonder if they got mixed up by accident?
Edit - or wait, are you saying that the bubba kush is the one that’s supposed to smell funky? and the 90’s kush is fruity?

I swore 420noob said his had a funky/skunky type smell but I must have confused it with another strain.
Boy, I sure have confused this strain a lot. First I was calling it an OG, then I was calling it a “92 kush”.
And now this… lol.
Hey @420noob did you also grow out bobgrows bubba kush? I am wondering if that’s the smoke report I was thinking of.

The fruitiness seems to be a skunk undertone… It smells skunky and funky, but skunky is also fruity.

It does have a bit of skunky and very funky but yes is sweet and fruity. It had been a bit since I had some and my nose isn’t great. Also noticed big difference in smells between inside and outside. Actually same smells just different ones where stronger. No you listened correctly I messed that completely up for ya. Open a jar after 30 days and whole house smells dank af instantly lol.
No on the bubba Kush I sent mine back to @bobgrows for a seed increase so haven’t tried.
Lol when it comes to scents let’s just all agree that im usually way the f@$$ off

It’s been a clone only, that i am trying to reverse.

After the TST debacle, if @Bobgrows finds someone to reproduce them, I will happily return the pack I won in an auction! I lost most of my stock due to a continuing landlord issue, so I dont have any of the 3 legacy bubba cuts, two TK’s, nor 90’s kush I was wanting to pollinate and, would prefer someone perform a large open pollination to reproduce them.
If you are stateside, I also have a spare pack of CSI BK S1’s I would be willing to send ya – if you will definitely grow them out. I am blocked from growing and, these seeds arent getting any younger!
