Testing Different Strains for the First Time! Wish Me Luck

Hey, fellow growers! Just took the plunge and decided to run a few different strains for the first time. Exciting stuff, but also feeling a bit nervous about it. Any tips or words of encouragement as I start on this grow?

Looks like a good start so far!

Can you tell us a bit more about your grow? Medium, nutrients, lighting, genetics…

Running multiple strains at once can be a headache for sure as all will require different nutrient requirements throughout their lives. Not sure your growing experience but less is usually more.

The KISS program is usually best. Keep it simple…

I usually run different strains together for variety and the only thing to adjust through out the grow is the canopy height, but by topping, LST and putting a spacer under really short plants it works out ok.

Looks good
Don’t over worry
Ph adjusted water
Good soil
You got the light, pinch at 3 node for brachy plants
Hmm
Fabric bags could go on rack but it’s fine if not
Good luck

Thanks for the encouragement, @Alaskagrown! Sorry for the super late reply, I’m still getting the hang of how everything works lol rookie mistake forgot to turn on notifications! But let me fill you in about my setup: I’m using Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil, feeding with the Fox Farm trio nutrients, and lighting up the ladies with a trusty Mars Hydro LED setup. As for genetics, I’ve got a mix of Blue Dream, OG Kush, and Northern Lights. So far, so good! Thanks for the tips; I’ll definitely keep the “less is more” approach in mind for all.

Running different strains together sounds like a blast. I’ll definitely keep an eye on canopy height and employ some training techniques if needed to keep things in check. Thanks man!

Thanks for the reassurance, Toker1! Sorry for the late response, by the way—I’ve got my notifications sorted now. I’m all about that pH-adjusted water and top-notch soil, so I’m glad to hear I’m on the right track.
