Texas Outdoor Organic Growing

With the new season fast approaching I wanted to see if we have any growmies with experience growing outdoors in Texas. Hopefully we can bounce some ideas around… the do’s and dont’s, and what’s worked best in this latitude/ weather/ humidity/ etc… Thanks y’all

Oklahoma here. In your mix add some of the water absorbant crystals. Do some research, there are 2 different kinds. One is reccomended and one not. It may be a bit hotter where you are at.

Good luck my friend.

Due to the current situation with laws in our state, these are all autoflowers… keeping them low and getting them out as quickly as possible… although this year would’ve been perfect to run regular photos with all the rain we’ve seen, I feel I could’ve grown out some 7-9 footers.

Thank you sir!! And you too!! I hope everyone’s season is going well this year. I’ve got about 2-3 weeks till they get chopped then about another 3 weeks for curing… lessss go!!!

Nice!! What you running this year?

Thanks for the tip boss!! We’ve been pretty fortunate here as we’ve had a lot of overcast and a ton of rain… since living here it is rare to have overcast, and with that everything just burns. Crop included

Do you ever have problems with ticks or deer/ other animals eating your crop?

The biggest problem I had were the damn rabbits chowing down there are so many of them. And cayenne powder didn’t work either

Some happy looking plants enjoying the fresh air.
Nice work.

Organic soil attracts the damn hogs as well. They dig up plants for the critters in the soil.

Yeah it can, but cannabis can take a lot of sun if you keep it watered. It has been super wet here too. I’m sure it will stop soon and be a dry sauna.

Well, I’m not an “okie”, but I do live here.

It will likely be terrible in August. It’s not my favorite month for sure.
