I bought a snowblower years ago after we got 4 feet of snow 1 year in Edmonton. It’s been 12 years since said 4’ and I’ve used it 4 out of the 11 years post 4’ of the white stuff.

Just spent 30 minutes clearing a path, it’s 2ft deep minimum out the back as the yard is bowl shaped, my blower is 24 inches high and it was just over the top of that, I had my ski mask on and my jacket hood pulled up tight so it wasn’t too bad. In the words of Billy Connolly, there is no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes lol. Stings your eyes though, can’t wear my glasses with the ski mask on. The path I cleared is already filling up quickly, this snow fall doesn’t end until tomorrow morning, so I might have to keep going out and clearing it so it doesn’t get too deep for the blower ffs.

Amen to that, I’m the idiot out there in waders , standing in water above my waist in -12 degree weather , and I love it ! lol hopefully it at least slows down

Looks to have died down in the city. Was out for an hour earlier, got it down to pavement and you wouldnt know I even left the backdoor by now. XD
Was down in Yarmouth earlier this week, no sign of any snow really, that probably changed now.
Hope thats the most of it, glad Im not up in Cape Breton, 100cm or so coming for Sydney.

Wow that’s a big dump of snow, probabably won’t be too far off that here where it’s blowing into the back yard, the wind has dropped off a bit, so it’s not as bad, the path I cut an hour or so ago, is nearly half full again 
We won’t need anymore wood until Monday now, so I don’t have to worry too much, apart from the front of the house as the snow ploughs are piling it up at the end of the driveway and it’s packing down.
