The DND crew made a real nice igloo with the front end loaders, it was so nice that we had to take a piccy and send it to our boss because the 15’ top of the pile was directly over the Admirals parking spot .
Our boss called their boss and 2 front end loaders were there within 3 minutes lol
We knew how serious that was but we were laughing because we had the pics and wouldn’t be blamed
We watched them drive around with the 5ton salt truck without the plow on it salting 5+ inches of snow and the loader following behind them mounding it into igloos .
Watched them do powerslides with the 5ton as well .
We’d be written up if caught doing that with a 3/4 ton .
Not 100 sure brother.
At least 40 cm so far plus the wind and drifts.
My plow guy needed a 5 th poke to make my hill and get up on the flat.
It’s 3-4 ft deep from the drift on one side. Bout 2 ft on the other coming up the steepest part.
Fukin awesome little mah cheens !
Pic them lil fukers up an thro them in the back of the truck by yerself without bustin a nut , send them down a flyte a steps, take 5" a sno like a boss, we jammed them into 25" snobanks and 1’ snowplowed windrows, dint stall them.
You have to put a bit of effort and thot on stuff that is more than 6" to 2’ but none of the regular crew want to run back to the shop to get a bigger unit after usin these lol .
Still snowing here this morning. Not sure on amounts down but lots.
Trying to get a loader for the lane. Truck is not gonna make it with 6 ft drifts along the way in from the road. Even deeper in the yard.
Fire on and coffee perkin away.
Hope everyone else is managing ok.
Stay safe.
Yeah, it’s been really good in the GTA this year for snow. Still blows my mind to see above zero Temps in February. Sure it’s only 1 degrees but still amazing.
