Alright fellow northerners!
I am in the market for a new led light and a new 4x4 tent. Wondering if anyone has had any good experiences with any of the Aglex gear or the Philzon lights. any tips or pointers for where to purchase would be amazing

There is a philozon giveaway happening. Might want to check it out. I have the 300 watt pro and the 400 watt. I like them they do get hot though. Guess thereās no escaping that. That little 30o throws down though

I would check out your local kijiji and facebook marketplace. Lots of stuff people used for a songle grow and then are trying to sell of. Defs worth a look, i find tons of deals here

I fell for that once and then got snow on mothers day and frost may 28th and killed my whole garden. I have trust issues with planting early now. Lol June 1st where iām at. Anything earlier can be a gamble.

I donāt know how to look up my photos from last year, but I put all 29 plants out and then we got a heavy Frost. I went out with green garbage bags and covered them all in the garden. It looked very Macabre and something right out of Halloween.

Ah, yea my weed plants I start to harden off in next couple weeks, they always do fine. Talking veggies. They hate it early here in grey highlands. Looking like we may get a warmer spring but i still dint trust it lol.

none here and i have a few testers outside for two weeks now cover with dollar store plastic domes at night they are cold and hate me but just looked still going

i have a aglex k 1000 got it at Christmas i like it for the price i paid that light is even cheaper right now 61 buck cdn amazon

@thainer Do you like the aglex? I keep coming back to their lights, the price seems okay compared to other leds

so far i cant complain i jumped at the price and have not been disappointed in it. just saw they were 61 bucks for their small one going to get another maybe two Christmas gift to my boy when i first got it i finished flowering in my 3x3 did just fine have not done a full run with it but will not hesitate to do so i have a 4x3 tent with a 3x3 and a 1x3 i have it in there now cooking summer veggie starts

Amazing! Thats what im thinking, I have been looking far and wide for info, and it seems to be not alot of feedback which is sometimes great, as things with overwhelming feedback seem to skew towards the negative more often than not.
so far stuck between these two!

two things i see first big red has more ppfd (if it is real numbers) second is and what sold me was the aglex has some uv ledās on board the other does not at least that i can see

Try to find the 3000 pro (300 watt) instead. I got it on sale almost same price as the 2000 (200watt) and it even has a but of infrared or something added. Much better light than the 2000

My calculation for a 4 x 4 is: 16 (sqr ft) x 30 (W/sqr ft) = 480W.
I built mine to be 660W but Iāve not run it higher than 400W, so Iām sure not pushing itā¦

I got the philizon 400 in the 4x4. Anything bigger, Iām afraid, will probably not fit. Itās tight as is. Might wanna check the specs first.
