The Canadian Contingent (Part 2)

So going on strike before Christmas as leverage of course its gonna happen, just like many times in the past, but those getting chuffed about their inconvenience at something they took for granted its a service after all and will get sorted in time.

Question though don’t you want other citizens to be able to afford and to live comfortably “i mean i wont get into what people deem comfortable or not” but as a collective whole we can do better, but too many people or people with disproportionate power/influences have too much to gain otherwise.

Like consider this dragging things on as long as possible so raises don’t happen when in bargaining “thats an effective pay cut” and benefits the employer, then not matching inflation “another pay cut” and a benefit to employers as its not like a business’s rates also haven’t gone up with inflation, or making people work 7 days a week sacrificing weekends and not being compensated adequately for the worker sacrificing their life for work for all you know thats the only time they get to see there family.

So them on strike ill support them, those dock workers though thats disproportionate greed due to leveraging power of the union.

and for clarity im also apart of a union in my field, though have been on that short end of the stick due to lack of leveraging power which is unfortunate but i wont get into that.

I know what you’re saying, but something like 72% of small businesses rely on Canada Post, and especially around Christmas. So that leverage is also putting people out of business fairly quickly.

Long story short, I hope it gets resolved soon, and part time workers are allowed to come in, 7 day a week mail would rock :metal:

No idea bud and I hope someone chimes in to help ya.

Personally I avoid anything that makes someone else that much money.

I know other OGers started making their own Vape juice with vegetable glycerine and time with reusable carts as an options which IMO would be the “best carts in Canada” because you know what you have in your hands and it cost you pennies.

I live 200 meters from one and never go there. I find it claustrophobic and I hate it.

Well, I go there once a year to buy Promix.

I think we should be pro-active
and someone should get that

I don’t know how you could be claustrophobic in a CT store, just go in and try to buy something that you don’t know where to find it, look for an employee and you’ll find that you have the store to yourself lol

I havent been able to find anything that smacks like Ganjawise, but also really love NFC carts when I can get my hands on them.

I once went in to buy something specific. It wasn’t on the shelf even though their internet inventory said it was. I talked to an employee and he said he’d find it, they’ve got an amazing inventory system that tracks things down to the milimeter.

He came back 10 minutes later saying he couldn’t find it.

I also live next to an IKEA and don’t go there either because I hate it too,

Our CT used to be a cool place to get stuff, now nothing online jives with their aisle markers.
