Right! haha wouldnt have had room in my carry on with all those coffee beans being smuggled back to the land of lobster.
Yes oat milk is acceptable.
Sounds fun. It really has changed into condo city.
I used to live just outside liberty village in parkdale and it was a great place to live when it was sketchier.
I haven’t done the kind of tour you mention in a long time.
I lived there for 35 years. Can’t stand going there now. Used to think it was the greatest place in the world.
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
My work was in liberty village when it was still a scary place and mostly used for film. Aka: watch “Due south” and any chase where they drive through boxes is in that area before gentrification.
When they built up that whole area we work masks as we watched them take every bit of soil dug up out in trucks to landfill in the USA… stuff is TOXIC as the are was a munitions factory during WW1/2.
Anyone living there is living on toxic soil in a toxic plastic place that will crumble in 20 years time from all the shortcuts we watched happen from 171 east liberty’s top floor.
There’s a shit movie called “the man” with Eugene levy and Samuel L Jackson that sucks but it’s great for Toronto location spotting. There was a shot of liberty village that could have been taken from my patio. I even paused it and looked outside, looked at the tv, and went “yup.”
I lived there before liberty village started charging for parking at the grocery store to give you an idea of timeline.
So just after The Terminator visited and my work fled. I assume this was when you babysat sound-bro’s @Foreigner?
No I was living in leslieville at that time.
But I could say the same thing about both neighbourhoods. They used to be vibrant, alive, interesting, just the right degree of sketch. But those days are done.
When I was doing the sound thing I lived a 5 minute walk away.
That explains how you could tolerate that gig! The environment and the people I mean.
I was offered a better job for more money during that time but it would have meant an hour commute each way and the cost benefit analysis just wasn’t worth it.
Baby sitting is a good way to put it though. Some were cool.
I remember one time some douche was bitching about having to spend $800 to rent the sound gear he needed to make a movie. He just spent $10k on camera gear. This should give you an idea of the mentality.
But your meme is pretty accurate. The actresses and producers especially.
Also “I got to touch Scarlett johansen’s armpit”
Well congratulations.
@Foreigner the Haffa Haze have arrived. Thank you
Hey great, you’re welcome.
Mine arrived a while ago, thanks foreigner. Cant wait to try them out.
Anyone have a MOM they would recommend? I mostly smoke my own, but want some variety. Have used cannabudpost in the past, but arent very happy with them anymore
I get the boys started on a job this morning.
As things got going I had to go do an estimate about an hour round trip .
I have one of the tufx wheelbarrow in bright yellow.
When I got back I found that the boys had their way with my wheelbarrow.
You should get them some Barbies for a Christmas bonus this year.
One of the guys printed out and hand cut the Barbie stencil last night .
Best part is that while I may drive around with it , they have to run it lol
