Your long term goal of an ultimate Chocolate strain will be worth the time and effort you are putting into it! Delicious on its own, and super useful in future crosses, especially if it carries its chocolate terps forward into its crosses!

How is it that no one has made a chocolate milk strain yet??
Great idea, I want some.
I grew out a couple of Katsu’s Chocolate Lava over the winter. At first I didn’t care for the smoke, but after a few weeks of curing the flavor came on much nicer. What was a little bitter at first took on a smokey chocolatey vibe…now I regret not keeping any clones. I think I might have a few beans left though…

Update. Looks like I got every clone to root! Gonna be a full OP run.
Also, I believe there is only the one male. There were two others that I was unsure of, but seems to me that they’re female. That gives me less of a selection to choose from, which makes my job much easier. I’ve gone ahead and grabbed cuts from both Chocolope and both Koffee F6 to throw in the OP tent, as well.
