Good evening, folks!
Not much to report on except for that I started the flower of my PawPaw male. I’ve been saving him from the beginning. I really had hoped it was female. The stemrub is a gnarly and I’m going to describe it. As nasty as it sounds, it’s oddly very satisfying to smell. So it smells like vomit and minty bubblegum. Or like someone hurled and all they had on hand to ‘cover up’ the smell was some double fresh. I get that sounds gross but hey… I LOVE GMO. The PawPaw being Indiana Bubblegum x Modified Banana (Banana OG x Donny Burger).
Some Day 7 Pictures. I plan to let him go 21days while the flowering bed/tent fills up and the clones root.

Hello everyone.
Update on my PawPaw male. I thought it a good idea to chop the top fan leaves the other day and I think it was worth it. I gently opened the tent today and he was dropping pollen. Not the biggest plant I’ve seen. He went from transplant directly to flower. Anyways, I think trimming those fans made cutting the pollen sacs off really easy. I clipped them right over the top of a pollen box.
All the male flowers are currently in the box with 10 satchels of food grade desiccant. I’ve used this method with mushrooms and it gets them cracker dry. I figured it will work with these as well? Oh yes, not all the sacs had fully opened yet but the ones that are open today, look like the currently unopened ones. Hopefully those open while drying up.
I didn’t snap many pics and they’re nothing glamorous, since this was my first time collecting pollen, I was more focused on the task at hand. Forgive the terrible focus
I’m still workin up a sweat around the house but now that this male is out of the way, I can get back to updates on the flower and veg tent. Those will have to wait till this weekend though!
Until then

Alright, moving forward!
Now that I’ve reclaimed my veg tent, I’ve been able to carry on with the flowering tent. They’ve been in the bed for 22 days now and in 7 days, I’ll flip to 12/12.
Some notes for things I’ve learned growing the male plant. It wasn’t all that big a deal I was making it to be in my mind. I was expecting clouds of pollen all over the place. BUT! Because of that… paranoia, I harvested the male at 14 days instead of my planned 21. I barely got a scratch of pollen. From a learning perspective it was a success.
That being said. The male I flowered out was a clone and I still have him on reserve, so I have more opportunities. None of the Paw Paw females in the pack are anything I would consider to be ‘keeper’. This male I feel is special… so long winded, I will probably not be making F2’s of the PawPaw in favor of using the StarDawg Corey or the Corey Heime #2 as an outcross for a BX or two of the male. I will be hitting a branch of each of those will the little bit of pollen I did collect.
Flower tent in veg for 22 days
CH#2 and Stardawg clones backed up. One of each to keep as a mother and the others will be in case I need extra room to run alongside the Corndog Walker.
Corndog Walker roughly day 22
I’ll update soon!
Thanks for stopping by and watching.

Final day of veg for the flower tent today.
I’m not sure what day to hit them with pollen but I’m thinking that on day 14 and day 21? I read about using a paint brush and flicking the pollen onto the selected branches and that’s the method I’ve chosen.

Annnnd away we go!
Fast update with brief descriptions this week!
Flower tent day 7! These plants are going bonkers… the Corey Heime is especially out of control, in all the right ways! I’m positive, that by the way they’re growing, I’ll be adding the second net at the height of those corner posts.
Of the Five Corndog Walkers I had, two were male, two female and one has yet show sex… I’m pretty dern sure it’s female. I culled the males and will transplant and begin training the females this week.
That’s all for now but, I’m hard at it and will continue to update. I’m extremely excited for this run but also these Corndog Walkers!

Damn dude they really took off and filled that screen over the past week, very nice! Almost prime time (flowers.)

Heck yeah they did! I needed a win and this will be an awesome holiday gift for myself. Certainly best start to flower this year and without a doubt the most full I’ve had it with so few plants.

Something different this week. I was going to pollinate on days 14 and 21 but looking at the plants, I don’t think they’re ready. So I’ll hit them on day 21.
In preparation for round two of 2025(just after the Corndog Walker & Undecided Mom plant), I popped eight Gooseneck and eight OMG Burger.
I’ve been craving GMO terps that the Paw Paw just didn’t deliver and no way in hell am I paying $250 for a pack of Donny. I swooped twenty seeds from 808 for $10. I’ve read some good but also some not so good stuff about 808. I have high hopes but no real expectations on those.
My living soil bed is small but I’ve done eight plant pheno hunts in it with good results. I’m hoping for at least four females of each strain. I’ll clone those and do a fast two week flip for the hunt.
Thanks for stopping by!

Two days later and I got 100% germination on the Gooseneck Diesel and tap root long enough to transplant them all. Six of the GMO BX4 have popped and should be ready to transplant in the next day.
Heck. I may be able to sex these out and squeeze them into the CDW run!

Update:
This week is going to be another very busy week for me. I’ve taken steps in the garden to prepare but, since it was unexpected, I am concerned that the seedlings from last week won’t survive. Had I known I would have waited to pop those
Some pictures of the flower tent. Yeah… I lowered the netting again. I set it up for that higher netting position every single time, then move it to this one… every time hah
Overview: Corey Heime #2 > Paw Paw > Corey Stardawg
Ah! oh yes! I forgot to say that I DID hit the plants with some PawPaw pollen. I had WAAAAY more than enough to do the three plants in the tent plus more to do any BX’s. I hit the selected branches on day 15 and day 19.

Well I got back to the garden a few days earlier than expected and everything looks pretty damned good! I lost two GMO seedlings but that’s it! It’s back to business as usual and I’ll have some picture updates in a few days.

No suprises there, your plants look like they are dialed in! Really nice shade of green.

I appreciate that!
I was out of town and fully expecting all my new seedlings to be dead.

Lets see here!
Day 27! I wish I had a way to spice up my photography more in these small tents but alas, I don’t think it’s in the cards. I’ll continue to share my weekly until folks get tired of looking at em
Anyways… lets start with seedlings. No pictures because… they’re seedlings. Folks DEFINITELY don’t wanna see those! Those are still going well but i think i’ll be tossing one of each, leaving me with three GMO and seven Goose Neck Diesel. While the rest have progressed to their second and third sets of leaves, the two in question have barely scratched their cotyledons. I’ll give them three days
The Corndog walkers… god I feel bad for those. They were doing so damned well. When I left, I foolishly pruned them back and watered as if they were still full plants. They’re extremely unhappy but, still alive. They’ll break out of it by the time they need to be moved into flower… I think.
For the flower tent… the good stuff!
Corey Stardawg - The first image is of the seeded branch. My first success of intentionally pollinating a plant!
Paw Paw - Same here. First image is of the selected seeded branch
And my all star… This beauty is a BEAST! Corey Heime #2

Awesome! Thank you very much for the compliment! Those will be F2’s. I wasn’t planning on doing them but a tiny amount of pollen goes a LONG ways!

After getting my old fixture back into the flower tent, I’ve been kicking around the idea of adding another 20gal living fabric pot. It’s the fabric pot I was using before I ungraded to the bed. Sadly, it didn’t fit by at least 4".
I kinda put the idea on the back burner until I remembered about earth boxes!! I have not had my hand at one of those but I think it would be the perfect solution and the payoff could be huge! Buildasoil seems the cheapest place to get it shipped. I’ll have to use their two item free shipping thing, but even still it’s cheaper and i get something tangible for my money.
What do y’all think about the earth boxes? worth it for a few no till cycles?

Thank you. The smell is getting intense too! I was expecting in your face funk but both CH#2 and SD have a sticky sour lemon smell that sticks to my fingers. It’s not sweet but smells like unripened lemon rind. The PawPaw surprised me this round. I think because I can compare it to two savory strains growing next to it, the PawPaw has a definite sweet smell I didn’t notice before.
I still don’t think it was a keeper so I let the PawPaw mother go. This run is housing some F2’s I may use for an innercross. I still think the male from that pack is good and I kept him, so we’ll see what the f2’s and the two crosses end up doing.
Thanks for stopping by dude.
