Glad to see that the Bubble Gum pollen, is working well for you. Others that have used it, said it is very effective as well. Starts Sunday, then I gotta drive back Tuesday evening. Close to a 4 hour drive each way

The hardest part for most (myself included) is that youāll have to run so many plants to hunt for the 25% that are auto. Breeders its a cakewalk, planting 100 at a time. Basement breeders with 10 plants might be a bit tougher (but not impossible!)

What I am doing, at the generation where 25% will be auto, is having a local IRL growmie pop 24 of them (probably gave him 40 beans Ā± so he will keep popping till he has 24 seedlings), veg them under 24/0. Once the approx 6 autoās show themselves he is sending the autoās back to me, and keeping the approx 18 remaining (2/3 of which will be Pp āfast finishā and 1/3 will be PP photoperiod). Based on previous gen sex ratios this should result in approx 12 females for him to keep and flowerā¦
And I should end up with 2m 4f out of the 6 autoāsā¦
Thankfully I have probably another 80-100 beans left of this project, so a total failure on his end would not result in a total loss in terms of the projectā¦

I like the distributed hunt idea, and it gives your growmie a benefit to lending a hand at the same timeā¦ Sounds like a solid plan!

Or run 100 solo cups (or 40 if 10 is your target #) and then just cull the 75% that donāt auto flower. That way you are only over-count for 3-5 weeks. And the 40 cups will easily fit in the same space that 10 would go full term inā¦
It CAN be hard to cull plantsā¦ gotta be cold blooded and ruthless!

Yep I am going to find auto male/female and bred. Hoping to get the auto going strong.
I am getting better. That is why I tested and pulled. But, now with wanting to make seeds, I have to keep them longer.

Just a quick mid week updateā¦
I have the final dry weights on the Sour Diesel auto and Sour Dubb.
Sour Diesel 3.75ozs.
Sour Dubb 1.63ozs.
Also I have been soaking the last of my Vietnam Landrace seeds over the last few days in rounds. Had one pop open 2 days ago and was placed into soil. Waiting to see what happens with that one. Right now I have another seed in water that looks like it is starting to open. The other seeds have all failed to open. I do not have a lot of hope that these seeds will do anything, but I had to give them a try.
