I sat down for like three afternoons squishing buds at different temps and rh different weed different hair irons getting the feel. Experience is the best teacher but it never hurts to ask someone who has been down your path. ask Kraven

I too have spent a bit pressing and all the variables from pressure, temperature, RH, etc. In the end, genetics played the biggest role. Some cultivars just squish better. I grow primarily for oil, so keepers are the ones that squish well.

I have taken to higher temps and very short press times (+/- 30 seconds). As long as I keep moving, I can press a couple of times at this temp and the 2nd pull is not burned. Keeping the pressure below 2 tons. Even then, sometimes, blow outs occur.
Nice color. Clean up is a bother though
