The year of making do

Welcome to OG :+1:. I love the cabinet, that plant is so bushy!

My first setup was in an ikea cabinet , I think they were called g13? Pretty sure i leaned that on this site.

If you ever use the rockwool again just soak it in your solution and give them a hard shake to get rid of extra water then just keep them moist but not sitting in water.

Your size constraints look very similar to @Mr.Sparkle 's. You should check out his grows for some great info on growing in small cabinets.

About 30 hours into their new independent lives and these little babies still look happy AF!

I’ve been misting 2X/day with 100 TDS / 0.3 EC water and gave each a few drops of root complex this morning. Humidity is about 90% and temps are 22-23° under the dome. If these actually work I’m going to be so stoked.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes yesterday. This place is very friendly, kinda unusual on the interwebs. Cheers!

Meanwhile the vegging plant keeps getting bushier!

I was planning to flip her this weekend but since my cloning experiment seems to be going well and since now I have some rooting hormone on the way, I think I’ll let her keep going for a little while longer and take another set of cuttings from her before flipping.

Or should I just keep mothering her? What do you think?

Given your height restrictions if you plan on flowering that one is flip it asap.

The cuttings you took will probably root just fine w/o any rooting hormone, but if you need to take more you can take more during the first week or two of flower.

sounds good. then if the early batches don’t root, you can take some cuts in flower.

watch your lighting level on those clones…less is more, and those LEDs are close

I’m a fan of your setup. looks familiar… best of luck :+1:

I’m running 30 PPFD according to Photone (no idea how accurate that is though). Is that too much do you think?

And then there were six!

Rooting hormone arrived today so I decided to take some more cuttings, y’know, to fill up the empty spaces in the ice cube tray

First time to clone cuttings so I’ll be super happy if even one or two of these make it.

Got my new heating pad set up and was feeling pretty good about my clones. Came back to check on them a couple hours later.

What a fecking numpty I am. I thought I had left the heating pad in it’s lowest setting. Instead it was the highest setting. Plants were wilted AF, temp under the dome was 45C/ 113F.

:tired_face::tired_face::tired_face::tired_face:

We’ll see if any of them make it.

Sad day.

Mama is still looking good. Going to flip her this weekend.

The grow box is doing great, good temp and humidity control.
