Yeah, as usual, I got some. Thank God it’s only a few from when they first started flowering. I’m hoping it’s the male I think it is, Black Lime Reserve x OG kush. It was the largest male on the porch but there were also an Ortega and a G13/HP. I think it would be the BLR cross, though.

So, I only have a few at the base of the flowers. Just right. I have other males on the property (shut up in a bedroom) but I just left them and need to package them up if still viable. I was going to before, to save it all, but I was too afraid once I saw seeds forming. I wanted some clean bud for a change and looks like I did mostly great. Nothing like last year’s harvest.

Whichever male it was it made a few seeds on SSDD, BLR x OG, Ortega, G13/HP, and Phuuu’s IPA ((ak47x nl) x super skunk.) Oh, and I had my clone cuts outside this summer and they all started flowering so I let them go because of one of Samwell’s crosses I love, wed. cake x gel x dosi. It got a few seeds as well. So I may have some fire in them if it was the right male. I’m going to try and give a bunch away eventually to see some grown out. I haven’t tried any of my crosses but one, heh. After this harvest I’ll get them all organized and see if I can find homes for a few.

I wash my indoors crops also, it’s amazing what comes off of those plants sometimes. I checked the almanac and supposedly we will skate through October and November without any sub 32 degree days, but we will see if poor richard is right about that with the global climate change etc…

Hey @tinytuttle. I understand all the hype about building up your soil organically and I’m a firm believer in it now.
We’ll I clipped the last of my buds today off my plants and pulled them out with the truck. I shit u not there are circles uplifted about 3inches high about 3 feet across where every organic plant was…
Tell me how that happened? Was it from all the sst and wc and compost teas I gave it? Plus t was hydrated and just fucking beautiful soil… I been a farmer my whole life and never seen anything like it

That’s awesome my guess would be that there is a higher density of roots in those areas right next to the surface … auxiliary roots perhaps sucking all the goodies in from where you may have top dressed , Roots can redirect and grow upwards from info Iv come across in the past . Glad ya had a successful harvest this year it should continue to get better every year if ya just keep feeding the soil goodies.

That’s funny you pulled it out with the truck … just leave them in next year though they’ll breakdown and help your soil as well then ya can snap the stump off in the spring it should be pretty deteriorated buy spring

That’s awesomeness right there man! everything about it, lol. Sounds like you nailed it. Yep, you’re basically feeding the microbes and they do the hard work to make the food available to the roots. Once you get that symbiotic relationship balanced and humming along it’s a thing of beauty.

I love the truck solution! I’m guess the stalk was bigger than your scissors, ha. enjoy! peace

@Tinytuttle, I got all of my stuff processed or brought inside to finish trimming last night. We had a freeze overnight.

All went good for me this season, considering. I still have a lot of work to finish it. have a good one!

That’s why some seeds are sold with predictions of finishing outside “Mid October”, lol… Nothing is growing outside past mid October, right? I’m surprised we got this far with only that one, two night freeze, and snow. It got nice again after that. I’m gonna have to panhandle for electric bill money this winter, lol. I have a long running sativa just starting to flower. It’s that Original Neville’s Haze from Todd Mc. I’m gonna pop some others to run with it I think. Might as well run as many sativa as I can handle since I have the one going. I might not want to do it every year.
