Another little discovery This weekend was making up another watering concoction of worm leachate and aloe gave the new seedling a watering however I didn’t want it to drain in the res so these 1/2 gallon pots fit 8 perfectly in a 10x20 flat

Recycle and water more plants !

Was just wondering how much aloe is in this aloe leaf !

@ReikoX how long you estimate it will take me to get through this? will feed every week

Do you just put it into a blender? How are you using it? I have lotsof smaller aloe that were getting huge and I let some just go. Once you show them any attention they grow like mad, lol. I’d like to get one large one like that going in one part of the house so I could harvest from it.

The fucker is huge like 2 feet long and like 2 inches thick at the base! I started to scape it at first then I said the hell with it and threw leaf material and all in blended with a hand stick blender then threw it in water

Actually I threw mine with the worm juice!

Hard to say, I would use it asap though, the fresh aloe doesn’t last long from what I remember reading. I think 1/3 cup per gallon of the fresh is the right concentration. I use a freeze dried aloe in my watering at 1/4 tsp per gallon.

I did use fresh aloe when I made my glycerine extractions. That, should last for years as glycerine acts like a preservative.

I have a question about feeding the ones using the wicking system. What kind of feed strength do you use or are they organic also like your outdoor grows?
I just built my own 32oz wicking pots and using pre charged/fed coco I am just using plain ph’d water for the first fill of the rez.

2 one dollar cotton candy containers that are 32oz. With a hole cut in the lid for easy access and to stabilize the whole thing by nestling the 2 together.

Well found out it wasn’t charged to begin with called the company and they didn’t get back to me promptly So in it went . I have to try in situ this round hope it doesn’t have a negative effect like I hear it can can with some plants ,in 6 gallons I ended up using only like 1/2 gallon Of char

Good to know , certain you tube vids I’v seen with trials of biochar it’s been stated that the brassica family of plants can be effected in a negative way , but that’s about all Iv ever have heard about the subject

The soil will charge it eventually. I read that somewhere.
