Congratulations grandpa!
Epic she’s a beauty
Congrats gramps…she’s adorable!
You have a top level predator as a pet? What form of wizardry is this??
In ancient Greek religion, Athena was a goddess of war, handicraft, and practical reason. Essentially urban and civilized, Athena was probably a pre-Hellenic goddess later taken over by the Greeks. She was widely worshipped, but in modern times she is associated primarily with Athens, to which she gave her name and protection. The Romans identified her with Minerva.
Sounds likes a powerful name, for a powerful child. Congratulations on your Blessing.
Simply beautiful! congrats!
You know you see that one post. And you instantly know you’re gonna like someone. This was that. Our owls are Athena and Hephaestus
God bless you my friend
She is absolutely gorgeous
Hephaestus , Greek Hephaistos , in Greek mythology, the god of fire. Originally a deity of Asia Minor and the adjoining islands (in particular Lemnos), Hephaestus had an important place of worship at the Lycian Olympus. His cult reached Athens not later than about 600 BCE (although it scarcely touched Greece proper) and arrived in Campania not long afterward. His Roman counterpart was Vulcan.
And they are beautiful animals. Hope I can live up to expectations
Hephaestus is the divine husband of goddess Athena. Hence the names mate. And you don’t have to live up to anything. You just do you
They’re actually nesting as we speak. No sign of eggs yet. They don’t actually hoot either. They screech. Moreso when breeding. And there’s a wild male taken residence in a tree about 50 yards away. Annoying at night
Anyway. Let’s not take away from this threads purpose of welcoming this beautiful little lady into the world. Drop me a tag in any grow journals you got going and we will catch up there bro
Great blessings for your family!!
I remember my first G, like it was yesterday.
I now have the double GG badge of honor. The cool side of getting old, IMHO.
