TopShelfs trees (Part 1)

I’ve always heard people refer to BLACK in their leaf colour descriptions but have seen very few I could say were actually black…… this glorious combo is what I would call black ! :open_mouth:

I know theres been some discussion on if this is a hemp trait or not, but regardless you could make a sweet pipe out of that

yeah ok, I’ll stop calling my Midnight Cowboy black lol its deff not black compared to that !!

I remember talking with Slownickel on this subject and he said it’s grower error and means it’s behind in CO2 Fixation, odd though as every other plant was not affected…… but seeing as I did not run tanks this time it may explain it

Really? That’s wild. I always thought it was simply a genetic thing. I just had some plants throw a bunch of hollow stems. And if we’re being completely honest with each other here, I didn’t spend nearly as much time in the room as I usually do with my heavy breathing and all.

Thanks brother! Much appreciated coming from you. That would be Goji x DLA5 by @Vagabond_Windy i actually had to hit him up for more recently as I know I NEED to run this again in a bigger pot, and Veg longer as this was my first go and just a tester. Rock rock hard nugs all the way down. When I cut her I was blown away by the weight up top yet she didn’t even lean or move when the fan hit , also laughed at my LST attempts by pulling out the rubber ties I added day after day. After the 4th day straight of this I just let her go, do her thing. Helluva combo imho

Ya take that with a grain of salt bro, this was 4-5 years back and tbh I vaguely remember. He’s an absolute wealth of info and has taught me TONS but I feel like you need a google translator to follow us around as he speaks as it’s so technical and intelligent so much just goes right over my head, no joke most times I speak with him now, I take notes :memo: no joke lol. I have had this before with some Yeti OG outdoors and some black dosi fire but it was very thin hollowness, this I could shove a pen in there! Haha

Yeah okay. Maybe it has to do with the main stalk. My mains were all solid and just the branches were hollow.

I’ve also heard him say it’s Ca and/or B deficiency as well. I think genetics also plays a role.

Well said homie! I too find this community to be therapeutic. Too long I was in the shadows and it’s just so nice to have a group of likeminded individuals to lean on.

Appreciate what you bring to the table dude!!
Good vibes :sunglasses:

Yes, you are correct now that I think of it. And I think pretty much as you said that it’s a mixup of various different things coming together. As I said I haven’t had any with this much of a width ever in memory so it really stood out. Nonetheless it is kind of cool :sunglasses:
