It is, it’s perfect and she knows her boundaries. But at night there’s coyotes that live behind that fence, they are cool I’ve watched them grow but I’m always aware my dog is a mere snack

We are “followed” every night out of the woods by the ones that live here. Big pack of 10 or 12 . 3 of my pack think they are dog’s and want to go run to them, FINN KNOWS what they are and when they come out he will drop to back of pack as they follow us, bark at them, and piss every 5 feet…
He WANTS to attack them, i will never let him. THEY fight DAILY for a living and fight in a group. 2 weeks ago i watched them take down a deer in full daylight. Took only seconds, ran it into 5 waiting in the woods . As strong and fast as Finn is, they would shred him in seconds, he would not know what hit him .
I have shot several of them, and they give me a 200 yard berth now, but follow us every night we are out there. A lone dog at night would not make the evening out there .

Yikes! I watched them raise their kids who are now the 4 resident adults. Big, beautiful coyotes, not mangy at all, but I’m positive to always be hyper aware , my dog would try and fight but come on, a quick snack for sure. I hear them make kills, have seen rabbits, possums even a skunk they killed , I’m torn on whether to love or hate them

I hate them too! Plus my wife’s allergic so I’ve been bit sacrificiously about 25 times over the years! Once by 12 that sucked!
