I love those jars. When I was actively involved on the waterfront, I was a tuna canning fool. Now Iā€™m just a fool. Tuna donā€™t show locally every year, so Iā€™d stock up. Got 5 cases now and didnā€™t can last year. 5 is real low. Iā€™ve had 25 cases in the pantry before. Havenā€™t bought a cane of tuna for 35 years. Might make some for lunch.
Great size for a few buds. Stick a bow on it and they bring a big smile :grin:!

Never even had REAL tuna, only canned crap! My wife and son absolutely love them , I can only imagine the difference is huge!

Man I love fresh fish! I can get it fresh but Iā€™d have to drive an hour to Baytown or 2 to Galveston for it. Sometimes itā€™s a nice drive others not so much. Still the fish :tropical_fish: in my area isnā€™t TOO bad considering.

My kids never tasted canned tuna until they moved out. Grandkids too. I have heard Costco has a good product. Several good reports.
Just albacore. Bluefin is catfood if canned. Yellowfin works well too. I put pepperonciniā€™s in the jar. Just tips the taste giving it a slight pop.
I am very grateful for the opportunities I have enjoyed with the fisherman I know. I just love barterworld. When fisherman/growers I know want to trade fresh halibut or white sea bass, I just love it.

See myself im not a big fish fan. Even when I was in culinary school I would try the fish I cooked and we cooked all sorts of exotic fish but none of them were interesting to me. The only way Iā€™d eat any of them is a with a lemon butter topping before serving. Just not my cup of tea but scallops man I can eat those all day if they are cooked right. Best thing I tried in culinary school believe it or not was sheep brain the texture was just amazing and it had a slight nutty taste and aroma and just melted in your mouth

Nope, just the canned shit up here, Iā€™m sure you could order it at one of the fifty million ā€œhigh classā€ dining establishments here but nope, never tried it even once.

Daylight savings change doesnā€™t bother me a bit. Then again Iā€™m not human. :alien:

Arizona doesnā€™t observe daylight savings, so everyone just shifts around us

Oh ya, in abundance! They are everywhere, in fact I love taking kids out to fish for bass/crappie(sunfish) and bluegill. Thereā€™s a few little ponds I know of where itā€™s literally non stop! And thatā€™s what gets a kid to love fishing! Smashing em non stop , then once they have the bug, teach them the patience part  I learned the hard way with a few kids that just canā€™t stand waiting for them to bite. Lol, one being my youngest son, but he loves fishing in all forms now, my oldest has obtained my obsession

Have some predator mites on the way and will be available for pickup Tuesday.

Gaeolaelaps Gillespiei are a relatively new predator to the scene although they were found 30 years ago, they were lost and recently rediscovered, these will remain the entire duration your soil/coco etc. is in use as they tend to congregate and breed in the substrate, and after using a pyrethrin spray with added residual components it was clear that Cucumeris mites were a waste of time and money, once these are dispersed Iā€™ll continue to use my other methods for the removal from the upper leaves/growth and the Gillespiei will do the hard work eliminating the larva/pupae which will break the cycle and allow me to get a foot hold, I successfully eradicated them from my clone/seedling shelf, but Iā€™ve noticed some still lingering in the stable so now Iā€™m hellbent on eradicating these little bastards!
