So today will be 72 hours since my last dose of suboxone guys, I think I may have kicked it!
I feel much more myself with out so much of my emotions being numbed.
I know some people need this drug for the rest of their life, but I think I was given too large of a dose too quickly etc.

Great news! Stay the course man. Opiates had me by the jewels for a long time. Life can be like a roller coaster but Iād hate to give up the joy in order to avoid the pain and sorrow that also comes around. Iāll take the thrill ride knowing that the low points will be behind eventually. Spending time with loved ones, making music with friends, fishing on a the lake on a calm nightā¦ I canāt imagine ever loosing the joy of those moments again. Existing is not living life to its fullest.

Iāve helped dozens and dozens off of these things since finding my way outā¦. Even a nurse who did my ultrasound on my junk no joke, we ended up talking for hours afterwards and I led her to a clinic, 6 years later she is opiate free and we still talk at least weekly, and go for coffee or lunch once in a while too.
