TopShelfs trees (Part 2)

Sports are a shitshow these days. The money is gross. We’d go to Rays games for free or get $3-$5 tickets and go sit wherever except the first twenty rows between the dugouts.

Awww I see, ya most are like that anymore, family, business etc. I was kind of joking but not really if she ever does ! Lol

@PatHealy the road warriors. Trust me I hated wrestling still kind of do, but seeing hulk, macho that would be killer, just cuz they were such freaks, yet huge celebrity status for a ridiculous choreographed ballet match with huge dudes in tights…. (Ya aliens look down on us like WTFF is this shit?) I always kind of hated the gym crowd. So I’d go at like 5:30 am before the rest even woke up. Plus I had keys so I could. But there were so many douchebags, steroid abusers and perverts just there to watch, bug and harass the young women. Then there was the guys who would just come around to sell pills and shit, crazy place in a crazy time. Then Nick and I would pull up in the Ferrari like a couple celebrities…. It was ridiculous but great times and great memories not to mention by far the healthiest days of my life, I’d go away for shows or whatever and he’d hook me up with other golds owners so I always had access etc. I loved it, miss him and those days.

The funny part is I almost never go. I don’t have the attention span. “Listen, I can give you 5 innings. I don’t care if it’s the first 5 or the last 5 but that’s all I got. I’ll make an exception, out of goodwill, for extra innings.”

Anyone ever play “New Ball” with friends at baseball games? Fun way to get people not into baseball into it. Just make sure everyone brings some singles. I’m curious if “New Ball” is an actual thing or just something we did and I just thought everyone else did. Haha

Same! Even jays tickets before 93 were dirt cheap! You could go to Shoppers Drug Mart, pay 20$ and sit about halfway up, loved that shit as I could take the train back then too (via) I remember they used to give Expos tickets free, I’d have stacks at times, hand em out lol. What a transition huh? Now guys like Ohtani getting 600 million dollar PLUS contracts, and endorsements etc. guys gonna clear a billion alone on paper before he steps on a field next year! Crazy! Look at Messi and Miami etc. craziness the money that they Toss at these guys. Even when I was promoting and producing etc. We’d go to a venue, say with Onyx. Sticky would be like “gettin that paper before I even step foot at that place” so we’d call whoever (usually some old Italian guy) who would show up with 20000$ cash! Hand it to them, then they would go to the green room. With a sentry safe box full of various drugs, a fridge with their drinks and DRINKS of choice, a bar with everything else. And usually tables of swag people had sent for them. Then we’d go hit the Eaton Centre say…. Athletes World. “You got them in a 13? Yes, ok these, how about that row? Lemme check, yes we do. Ok bag em up! Then the owner would be called cuz celebs were there and he’d come in and act like he just happened to show up, and be like I couldn’t possibly take your 12000$ it’s on me, I love you guys! Oh can you sign this? :man_facepalming:t2: it was insane to watch the shit celebs get free when they could easily just buy it all without question. Honestly it’s a big part of what’s wrong with society, we put these people on god like pedestals, soooo many! I get the true phenoms, standouts should be praised but now it’s anyone who’s semi famous, even complete douchebags. Ya not this guy, screw that they are just people, very wealthy, usually stuck up people smh

People are just people. Some are better at other things, but usually it’s because that’s what they were allowed to focus/specialize on/in. We need to stop feeding the egomaniacs and being entertained by the loudest idiots. Worry about, focus on, help out the people at the bottom, not the people at the top.

I enjoyed it a bit more when it could be used as an excuse to drink beer but now that I don’t do that anymore it’s lost it’s appeal.

You can use singles or go up if needed, but it’s simple. At the beginning of each half-inning or inning everyone puts in a single and every time a new ball is put into play you pass the money to the next person. Whichever person has the cash in their hand at the end of the half or full inning gets to keep it. Keeps everyone super focused on the ball. Haha

A lot of people who didn’t play don’t realize how often they switch out balls. Haha

Especially when you’re playing in Tampa. Haha It’s actually St. Pete, but Tampa works so much better for that. Haha

I’m glad you guys get it and feel the same. Look at the wealth gaps in society, it’s unreal. And with the way things are going 1/4 of the population is gonna be homeless in a few years, FOR REAL. People in the 60000$ a year range were once “set” at that, now you have to make that to break even and if someone else in your household isn’t making it as well or similar you are essentially fuct! Budget, save, reuse, whatever. No one wants to work their life away and still struggle, nor should they have to. Yes we live in the greatest countries, powers in the “free” world but life is becoming such a struggle, the elderly who built our country’s respectively I might add can’t even afford the medicines they need to survive and are choosing what to go without, or they are on opiates for pain from slaving their lives away but like @Gonzo aunt are treated like junkies and suffer away their last days. Or worse they are on the street panhandling, same with vets, these people fought for what they believed in and the countries they loved, yet they are discarded like trash afterwards, or riddled with ptsd and other mental issues that they just can’t be good contributing citizens so they end up in the gutter. This is the stuff that truly grinds my gears and breaks my heart at the same time. I watched my grandmother do just what I described, choosing what to get then cuz she couldn’t afford all of her colitis medicines and others, was a real eye opener when I saw what she got, versus what she had to pay, thank god there are a few wealthy people in my family or she would have been gone much sooner because of this. What a world my brothers, what a freaking world huh

Oh man it’s constant movement. It’s actually crazy how many balls a single game will go through! Oh it touched the grass? New ball! Oh you dropped it out of your glove on the dirt? New ball, smells weird, new ball :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

The people you see on tv aren’t really the problem. It’s the people you don’t.

I’ve never understood “wow you’re very good at playing the guitar and I’d like to have your baby.” I just don’t get it.

Ya that shits crazy! I don’t get what goes through peoples heads. We’ve definitely created an absolutely insane society and the way people think is absolutely ludicrous! Never mind what so many believe, truly believe “cuz so and so said so “ :man_facepalming:t2: oh and because he can act that makes him the authority on global warming right? :flushed:

It makes him an authority on pushing his own brand with free publicity.

I remember a long time ago some guy said to me “you’ve got to go see this movie the chick in it is so hot.” I can just go out on the street and see hot chicks for free. And maybe even talk to them gasp unreal I know.

Haha exactly! But instead go spend 20$ on a ticket, 40$ on snacks plus gas etc. to look at some woman you could never even talk to in real life cuz she thinks she’s queen shit! yup about right I suppose :man_facepalming:t2:

I slapped myself in the face so many times already this morning during our conversations I may actually have a concussion
