Yes I think a taper would be in order. Withdrawal is not fun.

Yrah it all started as a oil change

I donā€™t blame youā€¦. Always wished I learned mechanics when I was younger, I can change oil, tire, swap out stuff, change a headlight, spark plugs etc. but when it comes to engines Iā€™m useless! Such a great profession to have though, my buddy does so many side jobs etc. heā€™s constantly socking away money. He keeps the cash for a month, then deposits it. Once he had 14000$ in a month!

:joy::joy::joy: I learned this too and itā€™s why Iā€™ve decided to never change my oil again.

They told me that too. Taper. I just stopped them. Zero issues for me. Lexapro isnā€™t a bad one to just stop. Itā€™s not like quitting opiates or something.

Lmmfao you guys crack me up!

You might be surprised. Iā€™ve stopped taking some very innocuous uninteresting non narcotic things and the withdrawal was awful.

Anything that alters brain chemistry should definitely be tapered off.

Iā€™m pretty sure most doctors would say something along those lines, but like crown poodle mentioned I personally donā€™t get much relief from those type of medications but it could be my body chemistry.

So Iā€™m sure going cold turkey would have you in some type of withdrawal, it probably is a bit easier to taper off vs going cold turkey.

Iā€™ve tapered off medication in that class a couple times in my life not a walk in the park, but definitely with Cannabis and determination you can get by without big pharma having any grip on you.

You got this!!

I just donā€™t wanna go back to anxiety ville, god I hate that shit, but Iā€™m tired of this zombie shit, wake up tired, tired all day, semi sluggish, not doing shit I should be, Iā€™ts making me a lazy f?)!

There are quick release kick in the face ones for panic attack ones, there are all day slow drip ones for mild anxiety. Shit thereā€™s even one with a half life of 40 hours. Zombie for 2 days.

Love it, thank you for the vote of confidence and the encouraging words. Iā€™ve got a 1 month stash here so worse comes to worse Iā€™ll just eat another half, starting to get anxious thinking about it lol

Have you tried any breathing meditation @TopShelfTrees1 ?

Breathing is what so much comes down. A big reason I always push for yoga and Pilates.

I like lorazepam, but they donā€™t want me taking it anymore except for emergencies, so they put me on this last year maybe 2 years, but this zombie feeling and the do nothing attitude is killing me and cramping my style. Plus if I sit on the couch long enough after a jointā€¦. I wake up 3 hours later, itā€™s crazy Iā€™m a walking zombie fffs
