Condo living has some advantages. Some.

The monies involved are not insignificant but the maintenance fees are surprisingly reasonable.

Oh I can only imagine in Toronto! My whole condo only costs like 650,000$ and it’s nothing extravagant

I live right at the DVP and 401. Yeah, it’s nuts.

There are townhouses associated with this building too but the sticker shock is something to behold.

Haha I hear that, I’ve cut down since my health issue. But I was 2/3/4 a day previously between my wife and I, crazy consumption

I can only imagine! I remember the prices 10-15 years ago now, it’s astronomical, everyone is fleeing this way driving our prices through the roof, they have more than doubled, in fact a few points from triple, but are finally starting to see the horizon after 5-6 years of insane increases!

The stat that always sticks in my mind is that in 1984 in Toronto average house costs were 3 times the average salary. Now they are 10 times that.

It’s a sick game.

Sounds pretty precise ! An incredibly sick game, my cousins got into real estate as the prices began to skyrocket, spent the last 5 years making millions, no joke he’s worth about 6-7 now, in 5 years, selling homes. From having a roommate in Niagara to owning a 7 bedroom 5 bathroom home in one of Torontos most prestigious neighborhoods. Wish I jumped in . Crazy

You’re lucky to find a basement apartment around here for 2k. It’s really way over the top and not sustainable.

Shiiiit. I bought my house 5 years ago and was like “I dunno man. Feels kinda expensive. YOLO!” A little expensive for my taste was still below the local average. I’m glad I did cuz houses are now double or triple what they were going for.

Now I’m looking around like “oh cool. You have to make $180k a year now to qualify for one of these houses? Oh, only 10% of people are making even over 100k? Seems legit…”

Have a good day folks…

Looks like I was the first to pop in here today lol

I’m often up as early as possible to try to be more productive than I had been in 2023 even on Sundays, and trying to be a lot healthier all around and that includes new habits mentally physically and spiritually!

Good morning everyone! Hope yall are having a good day! Man last night I was pissed at myself! I realized one plant in the 5x5 was a 45 day strain (rest seem to be 8-9 week strains but im thibking they will go closer to the full 9) and I was trimming her a few weeks ago so she didn’t bulk up. Also the UVA issue that was going on for an unknown amount of time. Im hopeful that the rest of the ladies in the 5x5 will fatten up for me but im sad this one plant will only get me a few oz ugh live and learn the hard way. Next run no UVA I’ll probably take them out after this run
