All the work…. For the bears
My wife figures they just don’t want to deal with paperwork (fees, license, inspections, permits…) so they just ship in state.
Totally makes sense to me.
We have to race against the bears every year to get a decent amount of blackberries before they grab em up. Our property is loaded with blackberry and wine berry bushes so it becomes a bear buffet once they’re close to being ripe.
Morning folks! @HighTilliDie they have a bunch of the berry bushes right now up at tractor supply for about ten a piece. Even brought in goji berry, and goose berry.
If his whole yard is covered…
Just saying.
But then you get a chance at blue beary meat.
Looking for ground cover tho and they don’t have any lowbushing berries under 1 ft. That etsy seller also sells native plants to MI
Got you too if you want some, absolutely bro
Haha yessss!
Oh man… I thought better of you… That was so bad it was good.
If I knew better I’d do better
That’s what I told my mom as she was switching my butt! It only made her swing harder because she was the one who was in the process of teaching me “better”.
Bahahaha now that’s a lose lose!
Yep it’s silly. I’ll start with the small order of 3 each and see how they do in my flower bed in the front yard.
I know I won’t have to worry about this at least! Lol I live smack dab in the middle of the city. I’d just be afraid to walk thru my yard ever again of I did something like this
You Found the one plus about city life, nice! I’m itching to get outta the city over here, bad!
We are getting a fair population of black bear out this way. My base player left band practice at my home a couple of years ago and called me while they were still on the drive. “There’s a monster male black bear on your driveway!”.
I keep quite a bit of critters, seven of which are livestock guardian dogs. They don’t just have to deal with coyotes now. lol
That’s where it gets scary, it’s like the coyotes here, they don’t bother me one bit, in fact I love them but I worry for Charlii but I can protect her easily, the goats etc. out there that’s a different story for sure sadly
Out here, a couple of farm dogs is pretty much a necessity if you’re going to raise any kind of livestock. People don’t kill coyotes anymore. There used to be a bounty on them so the population was kept down. Now they are over populated and bold because of that overpopulation.
How much would you get for a dead coyote?
It varied between $20 and $35 depending on the need.
