No shit! From the pier too. Wow
You smoke fish too @Hashpants ? With salmon, the collars and belly’s have the most oils? My dad was awesome with a smoker. When you grow up poor, smoking is a good way to preserve some things.
I loved bringing smoked fish and all the goodies to any kind of event. For most folks it’s a novelty and they really enjoy it.
I do ! I try to catch as many of my own meals as possible. Those Cobia eat crab mostly so they have plenty of fat. I even smoke the “rack” or skeleton. Dripping fat like pork around the fins and belly.
Man Ive always wanted to fight the “Silver King”.
Love to catch me a Tarpon.
I had one on a gotcha plug in muddy water. I saw it roll and lo and behold it was on that 3 inch plug I was jerking. It skyed like 5 ft out the water. Probably 72inches long. I had 100 yards of 10# and 150 of backing 10# spiderwire. Needless to say it took all my line.
Cant “like” that. Bumma. But was fun the few seconds it lasted I bet.
That entire paragraph is a foreign language to me. Ha!
Sure know how to get me going! Here a couple freshwater donkeys for ya boys! As you can see my preferred fish is trout/salmon mostly on the fly or centre pin…. There’s two records in those pics too
Beautiful! Only a couple things make a man grin like that and fish is one of them ! Why am I starting to flush and itch all over ? Haa haa
God I’d love to witness that, our Atlantics go hard! I’ve had a few do some crazy backflips but tarpon! Unreal
Haha you and me both bro!
You’re killin me here bro! I gotta get a line wet!! My veins are itching!
Quite the angler Top. Those are some toads.
Kings frequently sky about 20 ft from the live bait on top and bite on the way down driving the bait down toward the water. That’s amazing to see.
Thanks bro, I live for that stuff! Literally I know you feel similar . Nothing like a day on the water
Damn it you are making me miss the great lake fishing over here @TopShelfTrees1 lol
