Definitely sounds like it! I’d gladly try that @JustANobody , once they get big they get kinda
We could maybe scratch a couple off the Ole list. I will throw up some pictures while I’m there next week.
Yea we don’t eat em after about 10 pounds. Fun to catch though.
Awesome! Looking forward to it. Hell yes we could. You come at the right time in fall/spring and I guarantee a multi species smorgasbord
Our best bay fishing is June through August.
This totally happens to me when I eat fish.
I knew a diver that documented this. She did most in HD Video but she did rent an underwater clockwork 16mm system from me to get some “vintage” shots.
That’s awesome!
Oh nice! If I can use the boat I’m so down! Thanks for sharing @thainer
Sheepshead eat a lot of crab. Really sweet meat. Besides my own doings, I’ve always had access to fresh fish. Grateful for that. Probably full of mercury all the tuna and swordfish I’ve eaten in my life. Way more than suggested. Oops.
Barter world came in handy.
Grew up fishing lake Michigan and small inland lakes in the mitten. We have a dam about 10 miles upstream from the lake awesome for salmon runs!
I do not! Cool looking fish. Habitat?
Structure, rigs, or in our case rock islands for tunnel ends. Bridges etc. We use clams or jellyballs to chum and a splitshot and 1 small hook . The bite is like a pan fish nibble , but it’s a screamer when you hook up. The swim bladder has a huge Triangle shaped area near the back to hold up that huge rear end !
It’s very rude to have 72 replies and not even give me a chance to catch up.
I see they get pretty big too. Anything over 15# that can put a flat side to you is strong. Used to fish surf perch on ultralight trout gear. Strong like that.
Awesome, just from shore? I have a 17 ft G3 with a 60 Yamaha.
Damn those are some nice fish!
Pssst… Don’t tell anyone, I’m not much for fishin.
If I wanted to sit and do nothing I could take the bus.
