TopShelfs trees (Part 4)

I think she made them at school. She’s not the only silkscreen artist in my family. My grandmother is a known Canadian one.

No way, that’s cool. I always wanted to get one when I was younger and selling merch etc. I’ve dabbled but it’s not easy, that’s for sure.

It’s one of those things you either get really into or you contract out.

That’s the stuff I remember, shapes and lines etc. abstract in a sense I guess. Awesome

Exactly, I would have probably got right into it if I got the equipment. There’s so much stuff you can do with it.

(Out of likes for a couple hours btw)

You should have seen her studio. Massive machines tucked everywhere in tiny spaces.

That must have been cool grow up with, I bet hanging out with grandma was a cool experience. I absolutely loved hanging with mine too. ( on the weekends they would run booths at carnivals etc. selling cotton candy and stuff) I’m surprised I’m not 350 lbs :man_facepalming:t2:

I made my own silkscreen art when I was 7 years old. The studio was always a fascinating place.

Here’s another:

But this is an embossing.

I pulled the stop sign out of an old construction site.

Mostly it’s some random stuff, my grandmother’s, and Mrs Foreigner’s stuff.

Here’s one of hers:

Predawn the lighting in here is shit.

I wish I had sentimental stuff like that tbch, haha I like the street signs and stuff though , I actually have a few cool ones too but they are in boxes as I don’t have a man cave anymore. :pensive: that’s why so much of my cool stuff is in boxes, I lost like 1/4 plus of my square footage here. But I’m trying to find a way to incorporate it

Just paint it silver and then you can call it art:

Lmao! I love it , I actually have one I had to get (steelhead st) when I heard of it we road tripped, I climbed on my buddies maximas roof (dented it too) and undid those bolts with a leatherman. It’s one of my prized possessions lol

This one was rusted to shit and crammed into the margins of a cork message board. I swiped it and painted it.
